CAMILA, now free of arm support but still have bruises and scratches, eyed the HQ, she sighed and walked towards the entrance.

The stationed officers quickly salute to her, and she did the same.

On her way to the office of the Head, she met DeGeneres. They shared a look, and DeGeneres gave a salute to Camila, and the latter did the same, and she embrace her.

"My salute is not enough of what you've done, Cabello," DeGeneres said.

"Thank you, I guess."

"I'm sorry of what happened to Armando, I know how three of you treated each other as brothers, I didn't expect that he will end up being like that."

"I am too, but-everybody changed."

"You're right about that," and she sighed, "well, the Head is already waiting for you in his office, and before you leave have a cup of coffee with me."

"Yes, Ma'am," and she gave a salute.

DeGeneres smiled and gave back the salute.

Camila then left, continuing her journey to the office of the Head.

She halted at the front of the office, took a deep breath and gave a knowing knock. She heard his permission so, she open the door, went inside and gave a greetings to the Head.

Chief Supt Thompson with a smile gave a salute to Camila.

"Have a seat, Supt Cabello."

Camila followed, and took a seat.

"I want to meet you personally because I always just heard your name, the citizens in Cambridge really admired you, the survivors were forever be grateful to you, their family, crying while thanking us, and I apologize if you felt that we abandoned you, we can't fault you for feeling that way because I will feel the same too if I were in your shoe, imagining a business tycoon, one of the most influential businessmen, no one will surely had guts to cross paths with them, except you, what you did is exceptional, you really, really set an example of your juniors across the globe, and I'm really sorry to hear that you will leave the force, a big subtraction to us, the likes of you is rare, I really want, and ready to beg for you not to leave but what I see when we do a video call, you already made up your mind, and I'm so disappointed in myself for addressing too late."

"I'm sorry, Sir."

Thompson shook his head, "don't be, it should be us, your higher ups, we're sorry for being too late."

"It already happened, Sir."

Thompson nodded because he truly understand, and he took the folder, opened it, and signed it then he stood, handed it to Camila, "from this day onward, you're back from being a civilian, and will leave with the rank of Superintendent, bear it always in your heart."

Camila stood up, accepting the folder, her release papers, "thank you, Sir."

Thompson then gave a salute with a smile.

Camila saluted back.

"Godspeed, Superintendent Cabello," and he handed his hand.
