Lauren stared at the night sky from her balcony, several securities on the outside roaming around the area.

Several military officers too are on the ground, pretending to be the Jauregui’s securities to lure the enemy.

She was too fond of the night sky not knowing someone is approaching her.

“Still not sleepy?”

Lauren look back and saw her mom and smiled, “no mom, I’m not sleepy.”

And Clara halted beside her daughter, “getting used of Camila at your side?”

“I’m missing her, I felt like deja vu when she left even though I was still a toddler.”

“I am like that too when your father is still starting his business, almost all week he had overseas conference or meeting but he always communicate with me.”

“Dad is not Camila, I know she’s restraining herself to call me or send a message, but I trust her that she’ll come home.”

Clara smiled, “that’s the spirit, you’re learning.”

“Well, my girlfriend is a police officer, not to mention a high rank officer.”

“Right,” and Clara look up, “actually, I didn’t expect Camila to be a police officer, I really thought she’ll be an idol because she had a beautiful voice, your father and I were so proud when we found out about it, we’re so happy.”

“I remember when I’m still rebelling...” and heard her mom chuckling that made her too to chuckle, “I saw how happy you are and dad when you see her again.”

“How did you know about that?”

“I was just curious of why you were out so sudden because we always take dinner together, that’s why.”

“I see, yeah, we did, we never expect it, and also, we’re worried, just imagine, your daughter just got out of jail and she’s gone after getting out.”

“She’s a strong woman, I couldn’t imagine what she gone through.”

“Yeah, but she’s fine now, she have us.”

“Agreed mom, I’m not letting her go this time,” and her mom lightly squeeze her shoulder.

“Take care of her.”

“Of course mom.”

And Clara smiled.

All the best officers gathered in the conference room as per Camila requested and her as their Team Leader.

Camila look at to the officers and sighed.

“Before I start, I wanted to say that you still have time to back-out from this mission, I ask for your presence based on your skills and achievements that is needed in this mission, I expect that you already know our main target, and many had chicken out because how big he is,” and glance at Austin then back to the men, “so, I will give you time, and I will not promised that you will not get injured, because the truth I can do this all by myself, I’ll give you 1min.”

None of the men had moved until the 1 minute had passed.

“Let me tell you this,” and she bowed her head, “thank you, so much, for lending your hand and supporting me, I’ll be forever grateful to all of you.”

All of them stood up and gave their salute to Camila that made the latter look up and she smiled.

“Let’s do this.”
