LAUREN caressed Camila’s cheek. She was left inside the room because she still doesn’t want to leave Camila.

Alexa and Lucy just left, saying goodbye to her when Alexa’s driver arrived and Normani and Dinah escorted them out.

“You act like a superhero, you saved me, just as you told me, my siblings, this family despite of your size,” and she chuckled, “but you have a big heart and definitely bigger than them, you’re amazing you know that,” and her tears fell, “and you scared me, really scared me, wake up now, please?” and she snuggled her face to Camila’s cheek.

“Do you really want to do a video call now?” Austin asked Armando on the other line.

“Dude, Chief Supt DeGeneres is with me right now, she wants an update and she’d been calling you.”

“Fuck!” and he check his other phone, “you’re right.”

“See? So, go move your fucking ass and answer it asshole, I’m sure Cami had some tech there so they will not locate or trace the IP we're using and know our conversation.”

“Give me a minute.”

“Hurry up!”

Austin asked permission to Mike and Clara if he can use the communication device that Camila used and they agreed and send Ally to operate it.

On the living room they set it up, the Jauregui’s gathered plus Austin.

Austin quickly saluted when the face of Chief Superintendent DeGeneres popped up on the large screen.

“At ease, why the fuck you’re not answering your phone, Mahone?”

“I apologize, Chief but a lot of things happened since I last updated.”

“I’m expecting to see Supt. Cabello with you, where is she? Why she’s not with you?”

“Chief—” and he gulped, “Supt. Cabello is comatose as of now.”

“Come again?”

“She’s what?” it was Armando who asked, his face is scary.

Austin gulped, “the Jauregui mansion has been attacked and Supt. Cabello—”

“Are you fucking kidding me? How did this happen? Are you being an asshole again?”

“I will really kick your ass when you get home, Mahone, I already warned you!” Armando said.

“Chief, Supt. Cabello’s family are here to tell you what exactly happened.”

“What do you mean?" and her eyes widened, "you let a civilian listen to our conversation?”

“They’re not just some civilian Chief, you know Mr Jauregui is Shawn Mendes’ target.”

“Care to elaborate for me?”

“I will let Mr Jauregui talk to you, Chief.”

“Go ahead,” and she saw a middle aged man, “a pleasant morning, Mr Jauregui.”
