They were in their complete combat gear.

Camila in the centre, eyed her men, Powerpoint presentation was at her back waiting to be discussed.

“Right after the briefing, we will proceed to our assignment, and that is to finally infiltrate, recover to safety the hostages that left, do everything what you can to put them to safety, it’s our top priority, now, all eyes up everyone, it’s now or never.”

Shawn blankly stare at his reflection on the glass wall in his office, glasses in hand, with whiskey in it, he drank it and smirked then his phone rang, he went back to his table and answer the call with smile on his lips.

“It’s time.”

“Good, I’ll wait for you there,” and end the call then he push the intercom button, “Austin.”

“Sir?”

“Get ready, we will leave, tell Philip to ready the car.”

“Right away, Sir.”

Shawn then emptied his glass and confidently took his coat on the rack and wore it then took his phone and left the office.

“Is he?” DeGeneres asked while staring at the unconscious man with several IVs attached on his arms.

“Yes, ma’am.”

DeGeneres sighed in relief, “ready the ambulance, let’s take him to the hospital with proper care and security.”

“Yes, ma’am.”

“Don’t let anyone, as in anyone knows about this until the operation is done.”

“Copy, ma’am,” and left.

DeGeneres then look at to her phone, “be careful Cabello,” “be quick.”

Camila look up, “what is it?”

“Is this the last time we can accompany you to this kind of operation?”

Camila smiled sadly, “yes, this’ll be my last time.”

“We want you to know, Superintendent, we all look up to you.”

And the men smiled at Camila.

“Sir, Mendes is gone.”

“What do you mean gone?”

“He’s not in the building anymore, Sir.”
