Draco POV

After my mother left with Hermione, and Harry I wasn't sure what to do. Fred and George immediately walked off giving a quick goodbye. They were obviously up to something but I didn't care enough to find out what.

After wandering for a while I ended up in the library. Once in the library I wandered the shelfs. Hermione would love the library. It was filled with old and new books from all over the world. Maybe I'd show it to her when she got back.

Lost in my thoughts I almost walked past Uncle Severus. He was sitting on a high back wing chair in the middle of some book shelves.

"Hello Uncle Sev'," I greeted when I noticed him.

"Hello Draco," Severus said without looking up from his book.

"What are you reading?" I asked sitting down on an ottoman.

"One of Tom's books about theoretical transfiguration," Severus turned another page of the book, "I don't know how he could find this interesting."

I smiled and stated, "He makes you happy, doesn't he."

Uncle Sev' looked up in surprise, "What?"

"Tom, he makes you happy," I restated.

Sev' blinked, "Yes, I think he dose."

"You think?"

Uncle Severus blushed slightly, "I know he makes me happy. And I know he loves me, even if he hasn't said it."

The last part was stated almost bitterly. Not knowing what to say I chose to ignore it. "I'm happy for you Uncle Sev'."

My godfather blinked in surprise, "Thank you Draco." Nothing more was said and I stood to grab a random book.

Coincidently the book I'd grabbed was about changing a wizard or witches appearance. As I read I thought again about Hermione, someone who likely looked nothing like the person I knew. "Uncle Sev'?" I asked hesitantly.

"Hum?"

"Who do you think Hermione really is?"

Uncle Severus seemed surprised by my question. He put a bookmark in his book and closed it, giving me his full attention. "I don't know Draco. Probably the daughter of some deceased order members or death eaters."

"Then why hide her identity?" I asked, the whole situation didn't make sense.

Sev' just shrugged, "I don't know Draco. Most of the time Dumbledore's actions in this war are that of a crazed man. It's no use speculating, besides we'll know soon enough."

I nodded knowing Uncle Sev' was right and returned to my book, it was really interesting. I lost track of time as I read but was interrupted by a 'pop' as a house elf entered the library. The elf quickly told us that lunch was ready. After thanking the elf Uncle Sev' went to find Tom while I made my way to the dining room.

I entered the dining room and immediately noticed Blaise sitting with his back to the door. I hadn't known he was coming, but it was a welcome surprise. I was about to greet Blaise when I noticed the boy sitting across from him. The boy looked a great deal like Blaise though they weren't exactly identical. I was about to ask who he was when an unfamiliar laugh caught my attention.

I looked towards the sound and saw an unfamiliar girl. As she laughed at something Joshua had said I was struck by her beauty. I wanted to introduce myself to her but wasn't sure how. I was trying to come up with something to say when two people suddenly slapped me in the back of my head. "Stop staring at my sister," the two that had hit me said simultaneously.
