After the most scarring event that happened in your life, it was finally dismissal time and you were quite thankful that you understood the words that blasted put of the teacher's mouth considering that there would be a long quiz the next day.
So, here you are, sitting on your bed. Piles of papers were everywhere although they were neatly arranged. Your textbook(s) were next to you and as well as your bag. Your hair was tied neatly into a loose ponytail as a pen was tucked on your ear.
Your eyes slowly darted from each word, sentence, and paragraphs from each one and another. You unconciously licked your lips as your eyes squinted slightly, brajn focused on reading and studying.
After a half an hour spent on fighting with yourself about your brain absentmindedly flashing Akashi's face on purpose, you had finally convinced yourself (what) and was already focused on studying.
Everything suddenly turns pitch black and it was even accompanied by the sound of a generator turning off, as well as the air conditioner. You looked up from your book and you blinked repeatedly, trying to get all the loose knots together to what had just happened.
"What?!" You groaned angrily as you slammed the book shut with a loud sound, itself echoing around the dark room.
"I only just read two paragraphs and you decided to shut yourself off?!" You yelled to no one in particular but you were actually yelling at the electricity and as well as the company who runs it who just casually went on like,
"Oh, I think its finally the time to suddenly shut off the electricity throughout the whole city and I don't even care about students who are studying right now and have only finished reading two paragraphs because I am really just great."
You sighed crouched on the bed, using your hands to feel around, so that you won't end up faceplanting onto the floor.
Spoke too soon.
Your knee accidentally slipped off the bed and your as expected, your body fell to the floor, legs somehow unexplainably tangled up with the bedsheets as you let out a pained groan.
"Great..." You thought as you quickly sat up, untanglinf the bedsheets off of your legs and stood up.
"Here comes the part of numerous waist and elbow whacking on random objects as I try to get out of my room then." You muttered and stretched out your hands, moving them from the front and to the side.
"Ow!" You hissed quietly and rubbed your hip that had just bumped into a wooden table. After the pain has eased, you continued on finding the door.
Since you were already so focused on finding the doors, you didn't even noticed that it was already open and besides the fact that everything and everywhere was nothing but the darkness.
And then the evil within suddenly swipes out from the corner, attacking you with its sharp claws,
You had just stubbed your toe on the door.
You hissed and instantly fell on the floor, clutching your poor and innocent toe as you groaned in pain.
"Out of all body parts, it just had to be you, toe!" You dramatically said, a fake crying tone evident on your voice.
In the midst of your random drama scene, you heard footsteps coming in the bedroom and step by step, it was illuminated by a soft tint of orange.
You looked up from the floor to see a candle. No, it's not floating on its own, rather, it was held up by Akashi, who infact effortlessly looked more intimidating in the dark as the light from the candle made his face more scary as ever.
But your mind slipped off of that and it suddenly decided that he did infact, looked hot.
"Are you alright?" He asked, bending down on the floor, the candle allowing him to see your blanked face.
"Yeah." You mumbled and stood up, looking up at Akashi with your arms crossed, though your face showed curiosity.
"What happened?" You asked, referring to the sudden shut down of electricity all around the city.
"I believe a nearby cable post was broken down." He replied cooly as you nod.
He suddenly wraps his hand with your own and starts dragging you out of your room, twisting from corner to corner once in awhile.
Rather than squirming and be the sassy female being you are, you allowed him since you have nowhere to go around the endless darkness of the mansion and surely, you would get lost in a matter of 00.01 seconds.
A door then opens, allowing the beautiful artificial lightning of the moon to enter the dark hallways. Akashi brings you outside, a small gust of wind pass by you as you did so.
The sky today was calming. There weren't much stars but they did give out a beautiful bright glow that acted as a natural lightning for the dark, dimmed, and electricless city right now.
You took notice of your surroundings and noticed that Akashi has brought you to a balcony, that overlooks a beautiful rose field, as well as a lake.
For the longest period you have been living i the Akashi manor, you haven't been or pass by this balcony.
"Well, this mansion is enormous. How am I even going to find this balcony without getting lost?" You thought to yourself.
Another gust of wind passed by you and you shivered, hugging yourself for warmth. If only Akashi didn't drag you out of your bedroom and out in the cold night with only your uniform on and shoeless, you wouldn't be freezing right now.
You were suddenly turned around, feeling the shuffling of clothing and you quickly felt warmth. Your eyes widened at the sudden gesture of the red head.
"You're shivering." He quietly yet still audibly said, tightening the hug a little bit as he still felt your slight trembling from the cold.
Your cheeks created their own warmth as well, mind going blank to what's happening.
Everything seemed so quiet, only the sound of the leaves rustling and the soft whistling of the wind was audible, along with your unsteady breathing that was hitched up in your throat for a mere second.
You unconciously inhaled, smelling the intoxicating scent of the red head which recognizably smelled like mint and tea.
Your widened eyes soon went back to their original size, the sudden tension of your shoulders faltering as well, soothing yourseld with the warmth and scent radiating off of him.
You closed your eyes and nuzzled your face furthermore into his shoulder.
It was a simple gesture -- yes but it was really soothing, like a melodic symphony that turned into physical interaction.
And that was the very moment,
That you have accepted on how you truly feel about Akashi.
