A/N: And you all thought my next update will be Monday (6/15/15) //giggles. This is a heads-up update since I do not know if I would be able to update on that day since my school would officially start, meaning I'd be super busy. I'm aiming to be class president and hopefully, I could gain the trust of my new subordinates- er, classmates.

On to the chapter!

"Woah, sugoi! There's so much booths! I hope you brought a lot of money today, Itoko-kun~." Akira sang, clinging onto her older cousin as Yato glared at his younger cousin, swatting her away from his arm.

"No way, I'm using my money to buy an omamori." Yato said through gritted teeth as Akira pouted at him. You furrowed your eyebrows at Yato, clearly not that familiar with the word, omamori.

"Yato-kun, what's an omamori?" You asked, tilting your head to the side. Since you weren't able to really much go to or even enjoy your time with festivals with your imprudent of a brother, these such things are still quite unfamiliar to you.

The said male looked at you, quite shocked that you didn't know what an omamori was. "Huh? You don't know what an omamori is?" He asked as the three of you still continued walking through the already-packed paths.

"Not even a bit." You giggled nervously, scratching the back of your head, cheeks flushing a light shade of pink in embarrassment by the fact you don't know what it is.

"Omamoris are charms or talismans. They're a lot of different kinds of them varying for money, traffic safety, avoidance of evil and a lot more!" Yato enthusiastically explained as you nodded, finally knowing what an omamori is and its concept.

"Itoko-kun brought an enmusubi last year, sadly, that charm only guided him to that Megumi girl." Akira frowned, crossing her arms as she glared sharply and intensely at her own cousin.

"W-Well—!"

"If you don't know what it is, it's for romance, you know for relationships but that charm only guided him to a girl he would totally regret over for. So technically, Yato-kun is born with bad luck when it comes to romance and not even a charm could help." Akira laughed loudly, only to be stopped when Yato slapped the top of her head with the back of his hand.

"I heard they're quite really effective. My teacher brought one and we all thought she was going to just live old with like 20 cats but since she brought that charm, she already got married before her 30's could even start." Akira added as well.

"For relationships...?" You mumbled quietly after, gaining quite an interest in that so called, enmusubi charm.

"Look! It's a goldfish scooping stall! Let's go! Let's go! Let's go!" Akira happily suggested, pointing at the booth, dragging both of you and Yato towards it.

"Akira! I don't think they're open yet." Yato said, putting a little weight on his heel so that Akira wouldn't be able to pull him any longer.

"Nonsense." The silverette growled, somehow even pulling him with much strength though her expression remained as leisure as possible.

"Aki-"

"I want a goldfish." She cut her own cousin off, continuing on pulling the both of you by the wrist towards the stall. When it came to the point where the three of you were already so near, Akira couldn't contain her own excitement so she just dropped both of your wrists, jogging towards the stand, where a sweet-looking old man was standing.

"She's really a ball of energy, isn't she?" You sweatdropped as Yato nodded his head, quite embarrassed for his younger cousin as the two of you followed suit, Akira already trying her best on trying to get a goldfish from the waters, only for the paper-like net to break before the golden-orange fish could even touch the net.

"You're placing the scooper under the water for too long. Here let me do it." Yato said, paying the old man before he was given a brand new scooper. He knelt down next to Akira, dipping the scooper down in the water and soon enough, he raised his hand out of the water, a goldfish lying on the paper-like net.

"See! This is how you play kingyo-sukui!" He exclaimed triumphantly, only for that triumphant feeling to fly away when the weight of the golden-orange fish was too much for the net to handle that it broke, sending the fish back down into the water, swimming happily with his fish friends again.

"Wow. What a victorious moment for you." Akira replied with a monotone voice. The sarcasticness flowing through her sentence very well as Yato hid his face, ashamed that his first try for today went to a different direction than expected.

You, however, was curious about this game so you decided to try it out for yourself. If you could recall perfectly, you haven't really tried playing this in your whole life. This would be a first and hopefully, you'd get a goldfish in your first try.

"Um, I'd like to try it too." You quietly said, handing your payment to the old man managing the stand as he nodded happily, giving you a scooper as you knelt down in between Yato and Akira.

"I hope I can get one." You sheepishly said, ready to lower your hand, scooper in hand under the waters where the fishes were getting ready, not even giving you a chance for you to get one of them.

"Seriously? You'd think you'll get a goldfish on your first try?" Yato chuckled, closing his eyes while he crossed his arms against his chest. Continuing on rambling.

"It takes a lot of practice for you to even get one tiny fish! And you dare expect you'd g-"

"I got one!" You exclaimed happily and quite shocked too. You placed your hand under the scooper, not wanting the weight of the fish to do what it did to Yato's net. The old man held a plastic filled with water as you happily placed the white and vermillion-colored fish inside it.

"Eh?" Yato replied, expression as shocked as the fish. You on the other hand, looked at the fish through the plastic with such proudness. You shoved the plastic against Yato's face, smirking victoriously.

"How's that for a first timer?" You teased, blowing a rasberry at him as Akira clapped in awe.

"(F/N)-chan! You're so good at this!" She exclaimed happily, taking a good look at the fish you got.

"None like some other people there." Akira added, glaring at her male cousin that could only glare back at her.

"It was just beginners' luck!"

A/N: Do you know how much I tried to find kingyo-sukui from the depths of the internet? I forgot the word 'goldfish' so I just searched nemo because I thought Nemo's a goldfish but apparently not.
