"Okay, first step to ruin their date, is of course, to serve the correct food but with the wrong ingredients!"
"How do you even know the Spinach Lasagna is what they ordered?" You grumpily whispered to your companion who in reply, just swatted your shoulder while laughing crazily.
"I know everything."
"Really?" You questioned, furrowing your eyebrows at her as she placed both of her hands on her hips before replying.
"For instance, Infact, I know that... you're a girl." You facepalmed in reply before glaring at her.
"You already knew that when we met!"
"Shh, be quiet. Let's do this Spinach Lasagna of some sort."
You nodded your head and just well, watched Megumi, who is currently known better as Chef Jose Manuel 'create' the Spinach Lasagna with the help of a rookie chef named, Chieko.
"And then add the garlic that was dipped in olive oil when the onions are sweet and tender." Chieko explained as Megumi did as what told.
Chieko excused herself for a moment, saying that she's being called to help the other chefs with preparing the desserts. Once she left, Megumi quickly gave you 'time to add my special wrong ingredients' kind of face.
Megumi stood on her tip toes to reach something in the cabinet. There you saw she was actually reaching for the hot sauce.
Your eyes widened as she literally dipped the whole spicy substance into the already-softened pasta.
"Megumi, what on earth are you doing?!" You whispered shouted as the said girl paid no attention to you as she whistled an annoying mocking tone as she stirred the hot sauce and pasta all together with a wooden spoon.
"The best dish in the world is what i'm making, my dear."
"Alright, I'm back!" With Chieko's sudden return, Megumi almost dropped the bowl of pasta onto the floor when she placed it back onto the counter and threw the wooden spoon to a random direction before whistling an innocent tune.
"A-Ah! Welcome back, Ch-Chef Chieko." Megumi stuttered as you stood there still, sweatdropping as you glared at the back of Megumi's head.
"My my, Why do you look so scared, Chef JM? Were you doing something you shouldn't be doing as a chef?" Chieko looked straightly into Megumi's eyes as she scowled.
You could literally see how Megumi's shoulders tensed up. Your shoulders tensed up as well, eyes widening at the female chef.
Chieko's serious face suddenly turned to a cheerful one, laughing loudly as she placed a hand on Megumi's shoulder.
"Haha! I apologize, sir. I was just messing with you. I know you're the kind of chef who wouldn't do that, right?"
"Ri-Right!" Megumi quickly replied before Chieko returned on continuing explaining on what to do with the dish.
You peered over her face and there you saw that she was actually really nervous of getting both of your covers blown but who could blame her?
The face and tone that Chieko made, especially when she said about doing something a chef shouldn't do made you nervous as well, just made you want to nibble on a sugar cube due to nervousness.
"And then you just have to boil the spina-" Before Chieko could even continue her sentence, she was cut off by someone calling after her.
"Chef Chieko! We need your help again!" A waiter bursted through the door as you heard Chieko sigh and gave you both an apologetic look before jogging off.
With Chef Chieko gone again, Megumi as well, did what she had came here for. Now for her next wrong ingredient, Megumi opens the nearby fridge and picks up a small ceramic bowl.
You walked over to where she was at and facepalmed to see the contents of the small bowl.
Chili.
"I think you're just making the recipe super spicy." You frowned, crossing your arms as Megumi walked past by you and just literally dumped the whole bowl into the boiling water filled with spinach.
"And so? This what that Sonia girl deserves."
"Plus, this is actually Yato's plan, not mine."
You furrowed your eyebrows at her as you sighed. "I really would like to sabotage their date but not in any means with the food! Like why not just throw paper balls towards Sonia?" You sighed, pinching the bridge of your nose.
"That's a boring to do, Chef Juan Luis. Atleast Yato's plan is better than yours but mine was still the best." Megumi replied, mocking you with a sigh as she vigoriously stirred the spinach and also turning off the frying pan.
"What was even your plan?" You asked as Megumi handed you two types of cheese and a bowl. There you shredded the cheeses to fine particles.
"It just simply involves milktea..." She whispered quietly, this time turning off the stove that had the boiling spicy spinach.
From where you stood, you could really smell the intense scent of chili that just want to make you cry and stuff your face into the bowl of cheese.
You glared at Megumi from what she had said and gave you the look before nodding at you.
"What? That's actually such a better plan to be honest."
- "Done with the cheese? Now place these ingredients there and mix it with a mixer while I chop the spicy spinaches." Megumi rubbed her hands together like the evil villains in movies do as you just sighed again, doing what she had told you to do.
After a few minutes, Chieko comes back from where she was at and was surprised to see that both of you were actually close upon finishing the (Spicy) Spinach Lasagna.
"Since everything seems to be already finished, I'll go ahead now." Chieko says as Megumi thanks her, making her way back from her original station.
"Are you done with that?" Megumi asks, peering over from your shoulder. You were just still halfway onto finishing the mixture until Megumi decides to unplug the mixer and grab the bowl away from you.
"H-Hey! I'm not done yet!"
"You are." Megumi replies and just casually sprinkles a whopping amount of black pepper.
"Is giving them both stomachaches and a burning tongue a part of the plan?" You asked, glaring at her as you took the initiative to place the pasta into a baking dish.
"Maybe."
T i m e s k i p
"Tada!" Megumi softly cheers at the spicy lasagna dish as yoy just covered your face with your chef hat due to guilt.
"I think this is a bad idea." You whispered and was about to take the dish away from Megumi not until,
"Is order for Table 10 ready?" One of the waiters ask as Megumi swiftly lunged a tray of the dish into the man's hands.
"Yes! Now, scurry along." With the waiter gone, Megumi turned her attention back to you.
"It's too late to turn back now, (F/N)-chan."

If you don't get the milktea one, It's because there was a controversy about milktea poisoning.
