Chapter 61

"Oh dear..." Yato mumbled quietly under his breath as he held down Megumi from attacking Sonia.

"Yato-kun! Let me go so I can give that woman something she deserves!" Megumi whines as Yato glares at her.

They both turned their attention back to you, who was now practically holding the poor ice cream spoon with such tightness, it could either break in a matter of seconds.

"Can we leave now?" You muttered, a frown upon your face as you said that. Yato and Megumi looked at eachother before nodding.

"Sure, let's pa-"

"(L/N)-san!"

You heard Sonia call your name as you instantly received the motive of stabbing her with a spoon but no one wants to hear the death of a girl because she was stabbed with a spoon over a boy.

You cringe and slowly turned around, meeting face to face with a happy-go-lucky-looking Sonia.

"(L/N)-san! I have so- Huh? Did you cry?" She cut herself off, a concerned look plastered upon her face as she asked, placing both hands on the table you three sat on as she peered over your face.

"You did! Oh my... what happened?" She asked again, her hands moving up to her mouth in shock.

"Because you stole Akashi fro- mhmptf!" Before Megumi could even continue her outburst, Yato clasped a hand on her mouth to prevent her from saying anything more.

"A-Ah, It's because of-"

"You stole Akash- mhmptf!" You glared at Megumi before continuing your sentence once again.

"It's because of-"

"You stole Aka-" Before Yato could even reclasp his hand over Megumi's mouth, you grabbed the spoon from her glass of ice cream and shoved the mint-flavoured dairy proudct into her mouth.

"I-I'm sorry about that but it's because of just... uh.. family problems." You sweatdropped, Sonia tilting her head to the side.

"Ah, I see... Can I do anything to help?" She asked once again.

"How about you scurry off and leave my wonderful OTP, (You and Akashi's shipname), alone!" Megumi whines as Yato failed to stop her from saying those words.

"Do-Don't mind her! She just can't move on after watching... A-A soap opera! Yeah!"

- "But it's fine! It's just a small tiny problem, that's all." You fakely reassured Sonia who fortunately nodded in understandment.

"Wh-What were you going to say, Sonia-chan?"

"Oh, right! Me and Master Akashi are going on a date tomorrow!" She gleefully said, clapping both of her hands together.

Everyone on the table fell silent, even Megumi who was in the middle of a muffled rant. Your eyes widened at her sentence.

"C-Come again?" You requested, cleaning your ear with your pinky just in case you might have heard it wrong.

"Me and my beloved one are going on a date!" Sonia repeated as you sweatdropped, jaw dropped down as you stared at her.

Megumi and Yato looked at you worriedly, probably both aware that as of now, your poor heart inside your chest is panicking, jealousy overcoming it.

"Is she about to break or...?" Yato whispered to Megumi who only shrugged in reply, watching your horror-plastered face.

"I think she is." She replied back. You inhaled deeply, closing your eyes for a few moments.

"I am not letting you get Akashi from me. That's enough already! He is mine not yours! Mine. Maybe it's time for you to back away from him." You mentally thought, a disappointed, angry frown etched on your lips.

You inhaled again, looking directly into Sonia's gray hues before speaking up.

"Oh! Oh! Here it goes, Yato-kun!" Megumi mumbled excitedly, gripping tightly on Yato's uniform collar, nearly choking him to death out of excitement.

"I'm so happy for you."

"Eh?" Both Megumi and Yato blinked in confusion, not really expecting that kind of answer as they furrowed their eyebrows at you.

"Ah! Thank you! I'm so excited for tomorrow! I hope it doesn't rain too!" Sonia replied to you, sliding herself to the space next to you as you sharply exhaled.

"What do you think I should wear though? Formal or casual?" Sonia asked, placing a finger under her chin.

Before you could answer her question, a loud honking noise was heard outside despite the loud pit pat noises the rain was making.

"Ah, it seems that my back-up driver is here! I'll see you around, (L/N)-san!" She waved a goodbye but before she could even walk away from the table, Megumi stopped her.

"Sonia, right? May I please know where your so-called date is?" Megumi asked as you glared at her with an surprised look, actually knowing where this is going.

"I believe me and Master Akashi will be going to a garden restaurant called (Random Restaurant Name)." Sonia happily replied before skipping out of the ice cream parlor as you looked at Megumi.

"What was that for?" You snapped, looking at her petrified.

"I should be asking you that as well. Why didn't you tell the truth than saying you're fake happy for her?! I saw it, Yato saw it, we both saw how you looked so broken when she said they're going on a date." She snapped back, crossing her arms against her chest.

"I've told you! Onii-chan told me to-!"

"And you're just going to obey him just like that?! You know even though he's your brother that doesn't mean he could control you especially when it comes to the person you love."

You grew quiet of Megumi's words as you shamefully stared at your palms that was placed on top of your lap.

"(F/N)." Megumu called out to you, placing a hand on your shoulder, gaining your attention. You looked at her with a frown as her face resembled the same emotion although was mixed with concern.

"As your friend, I will do anything to help you get back Akashi, even if it includes murdering that Sonia girl-"

"Megumi, please don't get violent." Yato sweatdropped as she rolled her eyes at her.

"How on earth are you going to help me do that?" You asked with furrowed eyebrows.

"We already have Plan One!"

"Which is?"

"We would be ruining their date tomorrow!"
