Rythel, one of the Comrades, was waiting for my answer.

The Comrades were the royal advisors before the fall of the kingdom of Crescendo. Of them all, between the small Sir Owen, the lengthy Sir Tlinar, the sage Sir Oskel, Rythel was the one I trusted the most.

From the beginning, the Comrade, born in the Kingdom of Eurus, had been the one who had treated me the best.

It was for that reason that I knew he would understand my motives.

Or at least I hoped he would.

'Yes Rythel, indeed, I am going... on a trip.'
Rythel, still without eyebrows, frowned noticeably.

'A trip? Does that sound like a good idea to you? Furthermore, where on earth could you possibly want to go?' He lowered his head and apologized, 'excuse my vocabulary your Majesty, but I really didn't expect this from you.'

I approached him with the intention of showing my trust.

'I'm not running away, I'm not running away anymore. That's why I have to go, because I can't escape the duty that calls me.'

'Your duty,' he said almost sticking to my face so I could tell his eyes were radiating a yellow color I had not seen before, 'is to take care of this Kingdom.'

Standing as tall as I could, drawing my chest forward, arranging each of my vertebrae, I answered him.

'This I do for my Kingdom, everything I do is for this Kingdom. Since I stepped on this place I did everything for them, everything...' my tone sounded tired because I was tired.

Tired of continuing to fight and feeling like I was still losing.

I had brought back the magic, I had saved Crescendo, but at the same time I had condemned them by opening the door to black magic, to those creatures being created. I wanted revenge on those who had chased me like an animal, but I could never have expected something like this, so much cruelty, so much darkness.

So many people were giving their lives for me, but why, to what purpose?

Was there really a happy ending?

How can you fight without seeing the horizon?

How do you go on without knowing what lies ahead?

I was beginning to feel hope slipping away from me. But I didn't want to say it out loud. I wanted it to just stay as a thought in my head.

Rythel sighed.

'Your Majesty, I do not doubt your courage, nor your commitment to this people, but I want you to think about whether leaving now is really the best option. As your advisor, I tell you it is not a good idea. You just came back, we got the dome back, the magic is back. We haven't crowned you yet, there are too many things to do for you to leave now.'
