On the fifth day of my stay in Bali, I thought we'll be going back to the beaches, but Lexie has other plans. We just went to the market and buy some souvenirs.
I don't know what to buy for myself. I don't know if there are people awaiting my arrival back in the country. Those people who have seen my IG story would say a lot of things about me.
But I don't have to please them or do anything for them. But in the end, I just bought a few stuff so as to see that I still bought something for them. This is a weird relationship with my relatives. That's why I wanted to move out and live on my own because they wouldn't be able to say something towards me.
After going to the market, we just headed to some famous restaurant that serves local delicacies. Manny, who joined us today, showed us some of the exotic food that we should try. As I got to Bali to try all the things I want, I didn't hesitate to go for it.
But some of Lexie's friends didn't try for it since they couldn't stomach how bizarre it is for them.
Thinking about what we did for the past few days, we did a lot of things that I wouldn't be able to forget. With the tattoo reminding me of the trip we did around Bali, this will be forever in my memories.
And it will make me remember how I stepped out of my comfort zone and maybe, a reminder that I still need to continue pursuing what I don't usually do. I'm always gonna seek discomfort, even though risking it may have come with consequences, the part where I tried it is what I'm leaning into.
Because at the end of the day, the experience and all the learnings I will be getting to.
At night, we all went to a club and started partying with strangers. Then Lexie pulled me to the corner.
"What are we gonna do?" I asked.
She smiled. "I have something for you and I hope you don't mind."
"Ahhh... okay. What would it be then?"
"It's a secret for now," she said. "But you told me you're in Bali to experience the fun, get out of your comfort zone, and know more about yourself, right?"
I slowly nodded to what she said. "Yes, yes... but what is this for?"
"For now, I want you to trust me on this, Heather. What do you think?"
I look straight into her eyes and she seemed excited about it. I gulped. I'm not sure what she has for me, but should I go for it?
GO TO
YES - Go for it! Live your motto now! Get out of your comfort zone!
NO - It could be bad. There's nothing wrong with declining her invitation.
