Lexie puts a handkerchief around my head just to cover up my eyes

Lexie puts a handkerchief around my head just to cover up my eyes. When that happens, I freak out a little because I don't have any idea what would happen next.

She puts her hands on my shoulder so she can guide me where would we be going. She's not saying anything to me until we arrived at one place. We're on the second floor of the building, could barely hear the party downstairs.

She then slowly made me sit down on the chair. I am reaching out to what's in front of me.

"Lexie, what am I gonna do here?" I asked.

But she didn't answer my question. Just a moment later, I've heard someone else talking. It wasn't Lexie because it was a male voice. I was just quiet and trying to feel what's happening around me. When I feel like Lexie had already left, I removed the blindfold on me, and then I found someone else sitting across from me.

Our eyes met since we removed the blindfold just in time. I immediately looked away from her and tried searching for Lexie on my side. But she's nowhere to be found so I started to wonder what was happening.

"Did someone bring you here as well?" the guy in front of me asked.

I looked at him and give him a nod as an answer. And if I', going to examine the guy in front of me, I believe he's also a tourist. Based on his features, he could be an American or maybe not.

"My friend, Manny, said he's going to let me meet someone else. And that someone else could be you. But first, do you know Manny?"

I nodded. "Yes, we're with him for the past few days and he joined us here today. And I'm not sure what's going on."

"I think I know what they were trying to do." He smirked. "They were trying to get us on a blind date. Funny. But this looks so fun. How long have been here in Bali?"

"Five days already... I'll be leaving in two days."

"Oh, cool! I'm Klein. I'm living in Bali for a month now, but I'm originally from Germany. I also met Manny when I first come here and showed me around. Now, he's trying to set me up."

"I didn't expect this though..."

"Well then, let's just have fun..."

When Klein said that, slowly, we get along with each other. From drinking, eating, and talking about some random things, we've got to know each other. And then we've come to the point where he asked me why am I Bali.

Honestly, someone like Klein, I wouldn't say a thing about my personal life, but because this is my way of getting out of my comfort zone, I told him all about it and he was surprised that I'm doing it all. I'm prouder of what I was aiming for now. I'm getting close to finishing what I've started a few years ago on my little notebook.

At the end of the day, we've exchanged numbers since I'm still off of my social media. And I invited him to join us on the last extreme activity I will be doing in Bali.

I'm not even sure if I will make it out alive, but I hope I can cross it out of my bucket list.

I just need some courage and bravery. That's all I need.
