I woke up the next morning still in Camilo's arms. We both fell asleep outside. The sun was just starting to rise. I turned to face camilo. I gently nudged him "Camilo? We have to get up" he groaned and held me tighter. "Camilo, come on. I'm cold" finally a grin crept onto his face. But then disappeared. I knew his game. "Well i guess i'll just go to your room, get into your bed alone, and fall asleep with no one to cuddle me or keep me warm" finally camilo opened his eyes and smiled "you know if my mom opens the door and sees some random girl in my bed and i'm nowhere to be found shes gonna think you killed me" i laughed. "Then i'll just tell her that i did indeed kill you and she should welcome me as her new daughter" Camilo was the one who laughed this time and stood up, pulling me up with him. He held my hand and led me inside. We were greeted by his mom. Her red curly hair was draped around her shoulders. She put her hand on Camilo's shoulder and pulled him into a hug. Finally her eyes landed on me. "Whos this?" she asked as sweetly as she could. I knew how it looked. Her oldest son returned after a night with a strange girl. A rain cloud started over her head as Camilo waved it away. "It's okay mama. She was at the party last night" her eyes didn't come off me once. "Leave my son alone" she took a step towards me, the rain cloud turned into a thundercloud. I winced. Camilo grabbed her arm "mami, let me explain" she shrugged camilo off. "It's okay camilo, i'll go for a walk, come find me when you're done" camilo sadly nodded and walked away with his mom. I walked outside and for the first time did not know where to go. I turned left and hoped it would be right.
