Y/n's POV

Camilo was standing at my door. He smiled slightly at me. Fresh new tears rolled down my cheeks. Camilo smiled softly and walked over to me. He sat down beside me and embraced me in a tight hug. I cried into his shoulder and he gently rubbed my back. Camilo gently pulled me away from him and made me look him in the eyes.

"Why are you crying?" He asked. "I'm okay".

"I don't know," I whimpered.

"It's okay to cry" Camilo whispered as he pulled me back into him. To be honest I didn't know why I was crying. I felt exhausted and still worried about Camilo. I felt like I was causing all sorts of problems. I felt like it was all my fault.

Camilo's POV

Y/n finally relaxed. I waited for a moment and then realized she fell asleep. I lowered her down and got up to leave. I thought about it for a second before laying back down. I could go back to my bed or lay here and make sure my girlfriend was safe. Of course I chose option 2. I pulled y/ns body into mine and fell asleep.

Y/n's POV

I woke up in the worst pain. It felt like my whole body was on fire, I didn't even know where the pain was coming from. I let out a cry and Camilo bolted up.

"What's wrong?" He asked me. Suddenly I knew where the pain was coming from, my leg. I pulled up my pant leg to show my mark. It was red and hot.. And it grew slightly. Camilo ran out of the room and came back with ice. He gently rubbed the ice along my leg. The pain eased slightly but never fully went away.

"We need to tell my mom" Camilo whispered. I knew we had to. Camilo left to go grab his mom and I tried to focus on other things. Quickly Pepa burst into the room.

"How did this happen?" Pepa asked. Camilo told her everything.

"You should have told me," Pepa muttered.

"Sorry" I said with a clenched jaw.

2 weeks later

Tears drained down my face as I stared at the empty boxes around me. Pepa had no choice but to tell the family, they said that they would monitor it to see if it gets any better. It didn't. More tears fell. They were worried that I would completely lose the ability to walk. They are giving me some money and sending me to the city for proper health care. I squeezed the pillow tighter.I peered out my window, the snow was swirling around. They were waiting for a nice calm day to send me off. A knock on the door made me jump. I had locked myself in my room since they had told me the news yesterday.

"Y/n?" Camilo called through the door. My breath hitched in my lungs. His voice made me feel calmer.

"Yeah?" I called back out to him. I could hear him sigh through the door. I knew he hadn't thought that I was going to actually answer him.

"Can you let me in?" He pleaded. I slowly walked towards the door but stopped before my hand touched the door. My hand quickly flew back to my side and I slumped down to the floor. I pulled my knees up to my chest and nuzzled my head into my knees.

"I need to see you," Camilo whispered. That made me sob.

"I need to hold you," Camilo continued. I could tell he was crying.

"They're not home," Camilo stated. I stood up slowly and unlocked the door. Camilo slowly opened the door like he was afraid that I was going to slam it in my face. I stood in the middle of the room with my fists clenched in tight balls. He walked over to me and wrapped me in a tight hug. His breathing was shaking along with mine. I finally gave up and hugged him back. I nuzzled my face into his neck and continued to cry. I finally pulled away. We stayed quiet, not knowing what to say. I gestured around the room
