Camilo's POV

My mom instructed y/n to cross her arms over her chest. Concern and worry laced her face as she crossed her arms. My mom explained what she was going to do and tears were already forming in her eyes. I could feel her eyes on me but I couldn't meet them. I looked elsewhere. I sighed as I walked over to her. Luisa was already holding her legs. I gently put my hands down on her shoulders. My mom squeezed y/n's arm as she counted down. "3,2,1" My mom inserted the needle and I could feel as y/n drew in a sharp breath. She squirmed against mine and luisa grip. Tears were running down her face as she bit her lip. A sob escaped her lips and then a scream. Tears now ran down my face "I'm almost done" My mom whispered under her breath. Y/n continued to cry as my mom finished. I stood there for a second watching y/n curl up into a ball. Lusia passed my mom the gauze and my vision began to blur. I ran out of the room. I couldn't bear to see her like that.

Y/n's POV

I wanted him to stay. I wanted him to wrap his arms around me and tell me it was going to be okay but instead he ran out of the room. Tears continued to escape my eyes and run down my cheeks. Pepa stood up and wiped a tear away and smiled softly. "He can't stand to see you like this," She whispered. I looked up at her like I didn't understand, but I did. I needed him though. I softly nodded at Pepa and she left me alone. My side throbbed with pain and then a familiar pain in my leg accompanied it. I gently lifted up the covers already regretting my decision to even check. Sure enough it was still there. I sighed as I stared at it. It wasn't too big but it was noticeable. I pulled the covers back over it, out of sight, out of mind. I knew what I had to do next, I had to go see Camilo. But I had to wait until no one would see me. Who knew how long that could take? I waited until it got dark but I could still hear footsteps. I moved my head to check the time 9:58. I was so tired and I wanted to go to sleep but I fought it off. Finally after what felt like hours I couldn't hear anyone. Commence plan; Go see Camilo without getting caught.
