Camilo's POV

She went limp in my arms. I was able to prop her up. Her eyes were closed but she was still breathing. She wasn't very heavy and I could've picked her up and carried her all the way down to the house but luisa took her from me and dolores led us back to the town. y/n was limp and was swaying back and forth. I grabbed her hand and didn't let go. When we got home it was late at night or early in the morning. I honestly couldn't care less. I took y/n from luisa and carried her bridal style into my room and gently placed her down on the bed. I pulled the covers up to her chin and got in next to her. I draped my arm around her waist and drifted off to sleep.

Y/n POV

:Dream:

I was running. Someone was coming for me. I tried to look over my shoulder but I couldn't turn my head. A crack in my ankle made me fall. A big shadow stood over me. A scream got caught in my lungs and then it was dark

:End dream:

I was being shaken awake by camilo. I was in a cold sweat and I could barely breathe. Camilo pulled me close to his chest and gently rocked me back and forth rubbing gentle circles on my back. I was so scared. I eventually fell asleep when Camilo started softly singing to me. I woke up and the light was slightly peeking through the blinds. I yawned and stretched, reaching out for Camilo but the space beside me was empty. I sat up and looked next to me. A loud bang of the door opening scared me out of my skin. Camilo walked in with a tray full of steaming food. He looked at me and smiled. "I thought you would be hungry so i got everything i could find" he held up some food "this will heal your shoulder" i smiled and took it from him, popping it in my mouth. I immediately felt better. "This food is amazing," I said, taking the tray from him. Camilo laid down on his stomach beside me. "You have to share some with me" I smiled and nudged the tray closer to him. We gazed into each other's eyes and he started leaning into me. Our lips were almost about when we heard yelling in the hall "Mirabel! You can't just go around yelling about how the magic is dying" Camilo's face softened and a look of worry covered his face. "Um, I should go see what's up. I'll be right back" I nodded and gave his hand a squeeze. I want to be there for him. Forever and for always.

a/n GUYS!!! People are actually reading this. i'm actually freaking out. please leave comments on what you want to see! So yesterday and today  i went skiing and was unable to write. i got this chapter out because i already had it halfway done and i saw people where reading this! It will be my personal goal to get 4-6 chapters between now and monday. Thank you so so much!
