Y/n POV

I ran out of the room and I was met by Camilo. "The house is falling apart" Camilo stated quickly. Camilo pointed up towards Abuelas' room "I have to get that candle" he said as he ran off. I knew I should probably go downstairs and go outside so I can be safe but I needed to help. I watched as Camilo jumped and dodged falling pieces of the house but his powers wore off when he tried to get to the candle. He fell to the ground and I leaned over the rail to make sure he was okay. Lucky he was. I saw Mirabel climbing her way to the candle, I needed to help her. I started running and everyone was screaming at me not to but I jumped. I didn't miss either. I grabbed onto the tiles and pulled myself up, cutting my hands in the process. I ran up and launched myself into the window. I quickly looked around and found the candle rolling around on the floor. My foot fell through the ground and I was stuck. Mirabel peered in "Y/n! You have to get out" she yelled. "Take the candle" I yelled at her. She did and then reached her hand out for me to grab it. I reached out and grabbed her hand but she was jolted back. I knew Casita was helping her. I struggled to pull my foot out but it wouldn't budge. Tears rolled down my face. I was stuck, I couldn't get out. I punched at the ground in frustration. The floor gave out and I was falling. I reached for something, anything. My hand caught something and I grabbed onto it with all my might. I swung to my side and bashed my hip, the pain causing me to let go. I fell through another floor and something soft was put under me to break the fall as much as possible. My back hit first. I couldn't breath and then it went dark.
