Kensi pov
When I realised the time (4:32pm) I panicked and ran to my room to begin getting dressed. First I showered which is vital, picked out an outfit, yes I chose an outfit to wear which was white flowing pants (i will try to find a picture and put it at the end of the chapter) and a casual yet bit classy light blue tank top with a simple gold necklace with a simple heart and small stopper earrings and for shoes I wore all white low cut converse and to add a more subtle look I paired it all with a black purse.
I then went on to do my hair and makeup, since I figured we might be going into water I didn't do alot of makeup, i used bebe cream instead of foundation, light blush and waterproof mascara all sealed with a rosy colored lipstick. And with that I went downstairs, grabbed a water and was heading to the couch,when I heard a vehicle pull up. Finally he was here. When I checked the time it was 6:55pm he was early but not scary early. So I walked up to the door and unlocked it so he can just walk right in while I finished the final touches on my outfit.
*text message scene*
K- "hey you can just walk right in, I'm almost done getting ready, just making sure I have everything."
D- "Already here so that's great"
*end of text message scene*
D- "KENS, WHERE YOU AT?"
K- "RIGHT HERE IM JUST LOTIONING MY SKIN AND SPRAYING SOME PERFUME, GOING INTO THE WATER IS NO EXCUSE TO NOT SMELL GOOD"
If you couldn't tell they were yelling through the house since Deeks was in the living room and Kensi was in her bedroom.
Deeks pov
I was a bit thirsty so I took a water from the fridge amd I was about to open it, but the bottle came crashing down and my mouth dropped in astonishment at the sight I saw next.
She walked down the stairs so effortlessly perfect, and she looked so good. The simplicity but class of the outfit did not fail to waw me. I mean I saw her dress up for undercover ops but nothing like this. Her hair was in its natural curls like she had them when we first met I missed those curls not gonna lie. Tonight is gonna be perfect, I can already tell.
D- "Ummm, waw, y- you look amazing" I said almost drewling at this point.
K- "Thanks you don't look half bad yourself, so are we gonna get this date on or what?😏"
D- " right this way your majesty"
And with that we walked to the car and i gave her my version of flowers for her.
D- "So I was thinking to get you flowers but then I know better than to give a plant killer flowers, you will have them dead by the morning and I can't have that. So I got you something that you might appreciate more, sweets, loads and loads if sweets. You got donuts, twinkies, chocolate bars and a whole lot more but don't eat them all now I have something special planned where you can eat them all then if you wish"
K- " You really went all out for this date huh! Thank you Deeks"
D- " Your welcome. Now let's get this show on the road we have a long night ahead of us."
We drove off to our first location, it was a beach restaurant with a whole bunch of different types of food. We ate there, talked for a while and then we continued on with the night.
K- " So I am guessing we never needed our wet suits? Considering you know we just left the beach."
D- " you are correct, we are not going to the beach and we do not need wetsuits I just said that becuase I needed you to not try to figure tonight out"
