CHAPTER 39 COMPETITIVE

"What happened to Lucas and Josiah?" Tanong ko kaagad kay Jeremy nang makasalubong ko s'ya sa hallway.

He scratch the back of his neck and look at me.
"Eh, ano e ano...nagsuntukan sila dahil ano..." he avoid his gaze.
"Jeremy ano?" Naguguluhan kong tanong sa kan'ya
"Uy Yen!" tawag ni Jeremy sa papalapit na si Yen.

"Tara" hinila n'ya kaagad si Yen
"Hey! im talking to you!" i shouted.

"Ano kasi Anianette e...ano, tanungin mo na lang si Lucas! hindi ako ang dapat magpaliwanag tungkol d'yan, we have to go" he said.

"Sige Anianette!" pagpapaalam ni Yen at kaagad s'yang hinila ni Jeremy.
Lumabas ako at kaagad kong nakita ni Jonas.

"Jonas?, nasan si kuya Josiah mo?" i asked Jonas

"Si kuya po? nasa kwarto nya po s'ya ate tapos po yung aso nyo po tulog pa po,so i can't play with her" he pouted.

"Anianette right? tanong nang babaeng katabi ni Jonas

I look at her "Im Josiah and Jonas's Mum" she smiled at me "Si Josiah nasa kwarto n'ya, tulog pa" she said.

Mukang wala silang ideya sa nangyari kagabi.

"Sige po ma'am, thankyou po" i genuinely smile at her "Sige po una na ako, nice to meet you po".

"Nice to meet you too hija" she smiled at me.

Umalis na ako at dumiretso sa labas im not hungry yet,it's just 7:65am im looking at the sunrise, admiring it.
May mga puno nang niyog at may mga kahoy na upuan. Kakaunti pa lang ang mga tao sa labas siguro ay tulog pa ang iba.

"Lucas" i saw Lucas he immediately look at me and avoid his gaze.
Lumapit s'ya sa kinatatayuan ko at bahagyang ngumiti dahil doon ay napansin ko ang putok n'yang labi.

Napansin n'ya ata na nakatingin ako doon kaya tinakpan n'ya ito gamit ang kamao n'ya.

"its nothing" he said.
"I know that you and Josiah had a fight last night, right?" pagkukumpirma ko pa.

"What's the reason huh?" i asked him
"Nothing, i just want to punch him, my hands are itching" simpleng sagot ni Lucas.

"Are you freaking kidding me" hindi makapaniwala kong tanong.

He look at me, parang may gusto s'yang sabihin "Okay then, i saw you two kissed yesterday, and last night he said that you allowed him to court you" he twisted his lips and look at ne intently.

Ipinaling ko ang ulo ko at nagtatakang tumingin sa kan'ya "Me and Josiah kissed? we're not kissing that time hinipan n'ya lang yung mata ko dahil may something na pumasok".

Tumango tango lang s'ya.

"Did you allowed him to court you?" he suddenly asked

"No!" i shook my head "Yes, he said that he will going to court me but im not allowing him already".

"Good" he said

"If he's not allowed, allow me then" he said and look at me intently

My eyes winded "what?!" bulaslas ko

"I want to court you, so allow me" he crossed his arms while looking at me

"b-but.."

"No buts, if im not allowed i'll allow myself...i will court you whether you like it or not" he said in a serious tone of voice.

Hindi ako nakaimik.

"Are you sure about that?" tanong ko pa
"You know Lucas, kung gusto mo lang makipag kompitensya kay Josiah 'wag na lang, ayoko rin na maging rebound Lucas... I know you still love your Ex" i look at him.
