Their Arrival

The duo finally arrived at their destination after having to deal with the dangers of the forest. Hell, Purple Yam Cookie was still carrying around that cake wolf by the tail, although it was well dead.
Their destination was a somewhat small village that was flourishing with many types of flora. It seemed as if anywhere a cookie goes, there would be at least 4-5 flowers and bushes that have already explored the spot in the village.

Saying the two were amazed would be an understatement, or well, at least for Milk Cookie. Purple Yam seemed irritated at how the flowers made the village so colorful.

"UGH! Why so MANY PLANTS?! These colors are HURTING my EYES!" Purple Yam growled as he squinted his eyes. Almost right after Yam complained, Milk elbowed Purple Yam at his hips. The hit wasn't hard, but it wasn't soft either, plus it did definitely gain Yam's attention.

Milk Cookie didn't seem so happy, especially when he put his hands on his hips. "Purple Yam! It's probably their tradition, be respectful!" Milk scolded. Yam let out a small "tsk" after, not wanting to deal with Milk's scolding today.

"Whatever you SAY. Let's find a place to EAT before we get LOST in these FLOWERS."
Purple Yam Cookie walked off, which Milk quickly followed behind.

It was crystal clear that the cookies that inhabited this village had their tradition centered around floras, the duo could barely see any cookies walking around here, but thankfully the village was not close to being a ghost town.
Milk Cookie was admiring the flowers while they walked down one of the sugar cubed paths, Yam on the other hand was just pushing any flowers, that were unlucky enough to even touch him in the slightest, aside.

"I'm getting REAL SICK of these FLOWERS!" Purple Yam growled as he pushed more flowers away. Milk Cookie slightly lifted his head, letting out a small sigh out of content.

"Purple Yam, I think you just need to calm down and just enjoy the scenery. Seeing all of the flowers are very calming!"

A small grumble, that was hardly audible, escaped from Purple Yam's mouth. Despite his rage, Purple Yam tried to do what Milk suggested-- Too bad, that impossible to do. The bright colors of the possible thousands of flowers that they were passing were literally burning the guy's eyes. It was a lot to process.
Already, Purple Yam wanted to destroy everything around him, or well, at least just the flowers, but knowing Milk Cookie and the little guy's sheer strength, Purple Yam tried his best to resist the urge.

The two continued on their search until Milk suddenly felt a light tug on his shawl, which in turn, made the cookie immediately halt, with Purple Yam doing the same too out of confusion.

"Huh?" Out of both confusion and curiosity, Milk Cookie looked down... Only to see a small child!
A big smile formed on Milk's face as soon as he laid his eyes upon the child. He kneeled down, now noticing that the child was lightly shaking and clutching on their dress tightly.

It seemed like the child was trying to say something, but nothing was coming out of their mouth.

"Aww... Are you lost?" Milk Cookie asked. The child gave him a small nod.
Right after the child gave him a nod, Milk held his hand out.

"In that case, you came to the right cookie! I shall help you to your destination!"

The child looked at Milk's hand, staring at it. After a bit of thought, the young cookie shakily reached their hand out and grabbed Milk Cookie's hand.
Milk Cookie's smile grew slightly bigger.

"Sorry, Purple Yam. Looks like we have to halt on our dinner plan, we have a child to reunite!"

Milk stood up then looked down at the little cookie. "We're looking for your parents, right?"
