Liz looked at her blank notebook page dreadfully. It was about eleven at night and she'd still hadn't finished her English report.Of course she knew if she started earlier it would have been done but she was preoccupied at the time.
She had until one thirty the next morning to turn something in but from the looks of it that wasn't going to happen.
Liz chewed on the end of her pencil nibbling the eraser anxiously. It was already late for a school night and Liz promised her mom she'd be in bed by nine. Irritated, Liz crumbled the plain sheet of paper in her palms.

It was finally the weekend and Liz eventually forgot about her English report. It just so happened that Mrs. Kremlin was absent that following Friday. Liz and Lj made plans to have their first ever sleepover, Liz was ecstatic to see Lj's room for the first time.
Although Liz had a fun sleepover planned she still couldn't help but feel worried about her friend. Lj hasn't been herself lately and won't tell Liz why. Not only that but Kenny has been avoiding her in the hallways and chemistry.
Liz fell gently on her bed thinking about all the possible things that she could have done to Kenny or Lj. Her two newest best friends have been so off lately.
She hesitantly lifted her phone up to her face.

Liz quickly rang the doorbell, her bag tossed over her shoulder and another one around her waist.
Lj opened the door, her hair was tight up in a bun with two strands hanging out. She had a oversized rainbow embroidered tee and matching fuzzy pajama pants.
"Liz your staying the night not three months." Lj remarked in a fit of laughter. "Haha very funny" Liz spoke sarcastically walking into the house. Her mom waved her in from the car mouthing she'll be out in a moment.
Liz looked around amazed at all the pictures and decorations. "Didn't you just move here?" Liz mumbled fascinated. "Yeah my moms are like decorating wizards." Lj snickered at her own joke.
"Ok so what do you want to do first?" Lj questioned turning to her friend. "I made a list!" Liz said happily reaching into the bulky bag.
Moments later the curly haired whipped out a folded sheet of loosely paper.

• Smash Marry kill
• Karaoke
• Face masks
• Scary movie
• Snacking
Lj read the paper nodding in approval. "This list is legit" Lj said handing it back to Liz. "Never say that again" Liz retorted patting her friends shoulder. "Noted" Lj commented walking to the kitchen.

"LJ" Liz yelled grabbing the bowl. "LIZ" Lj yelled back dramatically. "You added way to much chocolate chips!" Liz grumbled licking the spoon. "I added just the right amount" Lj protested sticking a finger in the bowl licking it clean.
"You added the entire bag." Liz justified motioning to the empty bag on the floor. Lj smiled shrugging her shoulders. "Seems like the perfect amount to me" Lj's mom said as she looked in the bowl.
"See" Lj widened her eyes glancing. "Fine let's just put them in and hope they don't turn black" Liz groaned playfully.

"Ok so what now?" Lj questioned sitting on her bed. "We we're going to play smash marry kill but instead I think we should talk." Liz told her siting next to Lj.
"Why have you been acting so weird, and why is Kenny ignoring me?" Liz asked frantically. Lj inhaled deeply knowing it was time for her to know.
"Two weeks ago Kenny came over my house" Lj spoke calmly. "Oh my gosh you guys are dating?" Liz spoke shakily.
"NO" Lj whispered screamed. "He needed help with his costume" Liz nodded giving Lj her full attention. "He said it was for a game convention thing" Lj continued. "That you invited him to through the game" Lj hesitantly spoke.
"What?" Liz intertwined. "I've never done that in my entire life because I'd never have the courage to" Liz replied anxiously.
"I know we were catfished" Lj mumbled. "WHAT BY WHO ILL SUE" Liz yelled as she stood up. "Laruso.." Lj whispered. Liz turned her head with her eyes twitching.
"That's identity fraud and on Monday I will slap the karate out of him." Liz ranted pacing back and forth. "It all makes sense." Liz stammered.
"Did he hurt you?" Liz asked holding her best friend. "Cause I swear on my life," Lj cut her off. "No but he hurt Kenny, they took a video of it." Liz frowned and held Lj's hand.
"School has been awful Liz" Lj whispered teary eyed. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Liz mumbled still holding her friend.
"I was planning to but I didn't want to wrap you into the drama." Lj remarked. "Your drama is my drama." Liz explained laughing. The girls embraced one last time.
"Ok no more sad fest I promised you an epic sleepover!" Lj joked.
