Seconds later her head started to feel light. She stumbled back swaying on her feet while everything around got blurry swirling into one. She felt the muscular hands hold her steady. She placed her head on his torso and blacked out going limp in his hands.

"I'm sorry baby girl." The Alphas sad voice whispered as he felt her body give into the medicine.

Next minute his warriors drove up in the car which took them to their final destination. The whole journey the Alpha held Calliope close making sure not to harm her any more than she already was. Or more like will be once she wakes up pissed as hell, probably. He taught.

Hours go by but when she finally wakes up her eyes flutter until she registers the feel of the softest sheets hugging her body. The calmness of the room engulfed her not ever wanting to face the reality again. It felt safe in wherever she was. Maybe if she stayed still enough it could make her disappear.

She lay still blinking and staring at the ceiling with exposed beams until her memory came rushing in realising she was drugged and kidnapped. Anger roosting through her she sat up a tad too fast as her head spoon making her nauseas. Holding down the nausea she slowly got off the bed but as soon as she did a clinging of a chain caught her attention. Her eyes followed the chain from the wall connecting to her ankle. It was padded around where it touched her skin.

"Whaaat...." She whispered confused. Without thinking she pulled at it with her whole self but as soon as she gripped the chain it started to burn her palms. "What the...!!" She whisper yelled immediately dropping the chain. As she hissed at the pain the door flew open revealing a big guy with black hair, dark eyes and right behind him the last person she wished to see.

Her kidnapper, her maker, her enemy.

The Alpha walked over to her with a key in his hand. He kneels and unchains her. "Are you fine to walk?" She only nods still confused at what is happening. Which was a complete lie but from her previous encounters with Alphas she knew that they are like a walking lie detectors. Nodding was a lie they couldn't detect. Although she wasn't any close to being fine Her mind was foggy and the last memory she could retrieve was them both sitting at the cafe drinking their coffee.

The coffee.

The Alpha stood close enough she could feel his warmth and authority that surrounded him. "You drugged me" she whispered more to herself than him at that moment but non the less it reached his ears.

"There was no other choice." She met his eyes anger rising in her. "Are you sure you can walk? The medicine was a bit strong." At which she nods again. The Alpha leaves. The body guard walks up to her and as she sways on her feet still feeling overly weak and unable to walk straight he takes her by the upper arm and half dragging walks out of the room dragging her with him.

They reached the bottom of the short stairs and as her eyes got used to the light she cast her eyes at the man sitting in an open plan living room with his back to them. As he stood up she relised why he seems to be so familiar to her. It was Sam. Her ex-boss Sam. The keep to himself boss who would not bother her at all during or after work. The one who paid her to hand and didn't ever require any information on her other than the name. Maybe that's why it should have been a red flag. But as tired as she was of running away every couple of months she stayed. Now that was another mistake she made.

An unimpressed scowl formed on her lips. Her eyes completely emotionless. The body guard pushed her forward at which she gave him a hiss but walked forward circling the sofa and facing Sam. The Alpha ordered for everyone to leave and her to sit and wait. As they left she quickly snooped around the windows noticing two guards standing at each of the exits but no one watching the windows. Taking that as her only chance for escape she opened the old wooden framed window and slid through the opening darting for the woods tripping couple of times as her body still felt weakened.

As soon as she reached the tree line a hand appears from behind one of the trees toppling her down with a loud thud and pain shooting through her entire body as she collided with the hard floor of the woods.

Ten minutes later she was back to being restrained this time with rope and stared at by no other than the Alpha who has given the order but watched uneasy look on his face as she struggled against her oppressor.

"Take care of her, I got business to attend to." The Alphas voice boom though the house. "Do what you have to to keep her in here." He looks behind Calliope to Sam who only nods. As they are left alone Sam walks over to face her.

"I can untie you if you promise not to leave again." He calmly said. "Theres one guard at each side of the house and three more taking shifts in the radius of this house. No matter how powerful you'd be, no one could escape this. I'd have a hard time leaving unnoticed." She nods defeated. As his cold fingers caressed her hot skin as he tried to untie her arms behind her back shivers rocked her body.

Sam walked away into the kitchen and coming back with a cup of steaming liquid He placed it at the small round basket of a coffee table nodding towards it. "Drink this." She looked at him with a raised eyebrow refusing. "It'll help me sleep knowing you're sedated for the night." She stood up with the intention to leave "Drink it." He put more pressure into his words now.

As she makes no effort to cooperate he takes out a little glass file and sealed syringe out of his duffle bag on the floor. "The other option is not as painless." He smirks as her body language changes submitting in defeat to his requests.

She picks up the cup with a blend of herbs and downs it in a couple gulps. She placed the cup with a thud back onto the table and turned to walk off but her eyesight started to blur and her legs became weaker. She held onto the side of the sofa trying to steady herself fighting the inevitable end of blacking out and being out of control, again. She felt the man walking behind her embracing her and with one swift movement he got her in a bridal style hold caring her up the stairs to her 'cell' of a room.

Right before the darkness takes her she hears a whisper of Sams voice "You look so much like her..."
