magnum pi: The saviors secret

chapter 10

    Magnum helped his daughter out of the car and him and Higgins snuck her into the hotel. Emma hadn't said a word since they found her. magnum and Higgins decide for now not to push her as Emma went into the bathroom to take a shower. "I'm worried, Emma hasn't said a word since we found her." worried Higgins. "Me too but we don't know all that's she been thought this past month, lets not push her to much or she might shut down. suggested magnum. Magnum sat on the edge of the bed with his arms wrapped around Higgins. After a few minutes Emma came out of the bathroom dressed in a long sleeve shirt and leggings she barrowed from her mom, her wet hair dripping onto the floor. she sat down on the side of the other bed looking down at the ground.

    Magnum went over to her and wrapped his arms around her as tears silently feel down her cheeks. "Emma what happened, why did you join darkshade? Questioned magnum. Emma turned to look at him before turn away and saying nothing. "Emma please talk to use, we just want to help you." Pleaded Higgins. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." Cried Emma as she buried her face in magnums chest.  and "Emma what happened?" asked Magnum. "um...this woman who said her name was Kate Barnett and she said she was the director of MI6 and told me she need my help stopping a group named darkshade by infiltrating the group and at all they had me do was hack into the MI6 servers because they wanted your file. I tried to docked it but before I could I was caught and then she wanted me to interrogate someone and I agreed even thought I wasn't going to tell them anything I found out so I went to the place and the real Kate Barnett was dead and she told me her name was Kyra Peterson. she set me up and said it was because she was using me to get revenge on you." Explained Emma. "Emma theirs something I need to tell you...". "I know William told me everything." Said Emma.

    "Emma we found your journal, we know you've been struggling mentality for the past few months. why didn't you come to us?" asked Higgins. "I didn't want to d-disappoint you." sniffled Emma. "Emma we love you and nothing you could ever do would make us love you any less but I wish you would've come to us, so we could've helped you." Replied Magnum. "So everyone can know how broken I am, that I'm not the perfect daughter everyone thinks I am. my whole life everyone has expected me to be the perfect copy of you. you know I never wanted to be a private investigator, I became a private investigator because of you. I have tried to live up to your legacy my whole life, everyone telling me story's of the great Thomas magnum when all I wanted was for you to come home but everyone expected me be the perfect daughter, be the perfect female copy of you. I'm not you and I don't even know who I am anymore." Ranted Emma.

    "Emma that's not true." reassured Magnum. "Really because nothing I have done has every been good enough for you. you spent most of your time avoiding me. Grammy Kumu told care of me most of the time and even when you where around you didn't ever spend time with me. Just admit it mom you never wanted me." cried Emma. "Emma that's not true, I love you." Cried Higgins. "Then why don't I believe you." Replied Emma.

      Magnum looked at his girls not sure what to do. his head was spinning as he watched Emma walk into the bathroom and lock the door. He looked at his wife who was trying to cover up the fact that she was crying. Magnum couldn't help but think this was all his fault, if he hadn't disappeared maybe none of this would've happened but he knew he had to push theses thoughts aside and help his wife and daughter. he decide to give Emma some time and talk to Higgins first. "hey Juliet are you okay?" asked Magnum. "She's right I should've been their for her and I wasn't. I'm a terrible mother." Said Higgins. "Juliet that's not true, your an amazing mother." Comforted Magnum. "How do you know? you weren't their." questioned Higgins. "Thought Rick, Tc, Gordon, Jin and even Emma. they all told me stories about you and Emma and since I've been back you have been nothing but an amazing mother. Emma isn't okay right now and obviously hasn't been for awhile. Emma will come around you just have to be patience." explained Magnum.

after about an hour Emma came out and crawled into one of the beds. Magnum and Higgins went over and laded with her. Emma didn't fight it as she fell asleep. Magnum and Higgins looked at each other as they watched their daughter sleep before falling asleep themselves.

After a few hours Magnum woke up and looked over at his girls both still asleep. he got up and grabbed Higgins laptop trying to come up with a plan to prove his daughters innocents.
