Monday morning came soon enough, and sure enough, Camila had distanced herself once again from Lauren. And Lauren was quite upset about it, but didn't try to make such a fuss. She had to concentrate on whatever there was in store for the that Monday morning.
When Lauren arrived, like she expected, everyone was whispering, she didn't know what was it about exactly but she was certain it was about her. As she made her way down the hall, everyone kept giggling and pointing towards her, making her feel smaller by the second. By the time she got to her locker to take out her books for homeroom, Lauren was both upset and angry. She then made her way to her homeroom class where Ally and Dinah also assist and took her place next to Ally, but behind Dinah. Both girls turned to Lauren, looking at her in concern.
"What?" Lauren asked concered, "What is it?"
"Lauren... Are you alright?" Dinah asked.
"Yeah." Lauren replied, "Why wouldn't I be?"
"Well... If I were in your place and I heard the rumors going around, I'd actually feel down right upset." The short texan girl interjected.
"What rumors?" Lauren asked in surprise.
"Uhmmm..." Dinah began, looking at Ally deperately, "Well... This morning in the cafeteria, there were a few flyers hung around and... Well there was a picture of you and Mila... Kissing." The polynesian girl hesistated.
"Basically, everyone thinks you're gay and that your seeing Camila." Ally spoke bluntly.
"Ally! Take it easy!" Dinah scolded the short girl.
"Sorry but hey, she had to find out." Ally retorted with an appologenic look towards Lauren.
"But, I'm not. I'm not seeing anyone. It was just a spin the bottle game." Lauren reacted defencively.
"Yeah... Maybe to you it is. But maybe not to them." Dinah retorted. "I mean, you don't know if they set that game up. You can easily use two magnets for that type of shit; one taped inside the bottle and the other one under the table where Mila was sitting and, Boom!" She gestured with a loud noise, "You're framed for something."
"Lauren... Don't take this the wrong way or anything but... There are some pictures that aren't even from the party. Some are from you and Camila being too close at a coffee shop, or you holding her by the waist or just both of you acting like-" Ally explained in hesitation.
"Ally, that's ridiculous." Lauren interjected.
"Miss Jauregui, to the principal's office." The speaker kicked in, calling in Lauren.
Lauren obeyed the command and took her bag and walked to the principal's office, trying her best to ignore the stares and whispering.
"Miss Jauregui... Have a seat." Her teacher, Miss Montgomery called out sitting next to Clara, Lauren's mother who had a blank look in her features.
"Where's Principal Garret?" Lauren asked feeling confused as she stood by the entrance.
"He won't be attending you. I just wanted to talk to you and I wouldn't be aloud to do it if it weren't serious so I called you here." The young blonde teacher said sweetly.
"Camila..." Lauren awknoledged the small girl sitting next to her favorite teacher.
"Girls... I want to know what's going on." Their English teacher began.
"So do I." Clara spoke, her tone stern.
"Well... There's not much to tell... Those are just false testimonies about my relationship with Camz- I mean Camila and I are just really great friends." Lauren spoke up.
