8 PM

You and sun were waving the last kids goodbye as the parents came to pick them up.
You were cleaning the table where glitter glue and crayons were scattered all over.

You had hidden your drawing behind the security desk so you could surprise sun when the kids were gone, so you walked over and took it, admiring your work.
You weren't shy to say you were satisfied with your work. You'd always loved drawing since you were a kid and really developed some skills.

"Sun!" The animatronic looked up as he was busy wiping the floor, and put the groom against the wall, seeing you walk over to him.
"I've got a little something for you."

"Ooh! What is it?"
He showed you his smile and you saw excitement in his eyes.
You pulled the paper from behind your back and gave it to him.

He carefully took it, not wanting to rip it, and inspected your drawing.
You saw his eyes watering a little but he blinked them away before looking at you and showed you the biggest smile yet.
"Thank you so much! I love it!"

He jumped towards you and pulled you in for a tight hug.
After a second he realized what he was doing and released you, taking a step back.
"Sorry, I don't want to scare you."

"You didn't, you're fine." You chuckled.

"I'm gonna put this up on the wall in my room!"
You smiled at him. He looked so happy. Well, he always looked happy, but there was just something about it that made it seem even better in the moment.

"You have your own room here?"
You asked.

"Yeah! It's up there." He pointed up to the sort of balcony above the ball pit. "If you want to see, I can show you tomorrow after the kids are gone.."

"Sure!"
You smiled at him.
You looked at your watch that said 9:50 PM.
"Let's lock up, it's almost time for me to leave."

"Right.."
He seemed a bit droopy but before you could ask, he ran away to shut down the computers at the security desk.

You locked the door of the closet and walked towards the button for the lights.
Just before you got to switch it, Sun grabbed your wrist and pulled you away a little with a tight grip.
"Ow ow ow, sun-"

Realizing he's hurting you, he quickly let go of you and took a step back.
"I just- please let the lights on.. I'll turn them off when you're gone.."

"Huh? Why?"
You were kind of confused as he looked at you, fear and worry visible in his eyes.

"I- uhm.. I'm a little.. scared.. of the dark."
He looked away and you knew he was hiding something, but you let it go for now since he looked like you somehow really scared him.

"Do you want me to stay here?"
He looked up, a little hopeful but shook his head.

"No, please don't."
You weren't sure what to think. You felt like you said something wrong but his reaction made you confused. He said it in a way as if he was scared.

"Alright.. then I'll be leaving now okay?"
He nodded slowly and walked you to the exit. As you walked out the door he gently grabbed your wrist, which was now red, careful not to hurt you again.

"I- I'm sorry I hurt you.."

You gave him a reassuring smile.
"Don't worry, it's fine. It wasn't that bad."

"Still.." He placed a soft kiss on your wrist before he let go and a smile appeared on his face again.
"A little kiss where it hurts! Good night, Y/N."

You were a little startled by his actions but smiled at him.
"Good night, Sun."
He waved at you before he closed the door so you could lock it.
Before leaving, you hung the keyring in the keybox behind the service counter.
You saw Vanessa walking so you waved her goodbye.
"Night, Vanessa!"

"Night, Y/N!"

With Sun

Sun sighed, sitting against the wall in his room.
He had a light blush on his face and a little smile.
He had so much fun today and he couldn't stop thinking about you.

You were different. He had a few co-workers before, but they referred him as just a robot. He might be an animatronic, but his feelings were just like anyone else's. People didn't seem to get that, but with you he felt like you really understood him.
You made him feel at ease when he was stressed and you really seemed to care. You even shared the same love for kids. And when he got so excited about showing you their work, you said they were beautiful. Other people always said "They're kids drawings Sun." or "I'm not interested."
Sure they were kids' drawings and not the best, but to him they were beautiful. He always loved how the kids were concentrated on their drawings so much, and how proud they were of their hard work when they showed him their drawing, so it meant a lot to him that you could also see it that way. It made him feel like he belonged a little more.

He looked at the drawing you gave him. It was so realistic, he had seen you draw but he thought you were just helping out kids. It made him happy to know you thought of him.

He got up and hung your drawing on the grey, bare wall.

He noticed the time and his smile dropped.
Any moment now, Vanessa would turn the lights off from inside the security office.

He took one last look at your drawing before he closed his eyes, resting back against the wall, And the lights turned off...
