~Valentines day~

I'm sorry if this comes out like super late, I'm just really busy resting, I know that sounds weird but I have covid which is affecting my energy but It's a good opportunity to rest from school because it's all really hard for me to deal with. I'm really just writing when I have inspiration and feel like it so I hope u understand if this comes out late. Thank you :)

It had been a long day at work.
You had a nightshift which started early last evening until late this morning. You had just done your grocery shopping and got some gifts for the boys.
They had gotten closer, Moon was getting more and more protective of Sun and even though they always had arguments They were real cuddle monsters when you weren't home.
It's not like they wanted to hide it from you but they were both just desperate for cuddles so they found it with each other when you were gone.

You had often pulled all-nighters so you would do it today as well since it was a special day, and you wanted to spoil the boys.

You checked up on them in your bedroom and saw them still cuddling in their sleep. You walked over to them and placed a kiss on both their lips.
You were about to walk away but Moon opened his eyes, still half asleep.
"Starlight.."

You stroke his cheek and placed another kiss on his lips.
"Shh, go back to sleep baby. I'm here."

His eyes slowly closed again.
You weren't surprised he had heard you.
He was always very alert, even in his sleep. He just had certain fears and wanted to be ready when someone would try to hurt you or Sun on the moment you'd let your guards down.
You couldn't convince him you were all safe.
He did feel safe with you, but he was still scared something would ruin everything.
He sometimes didn't get enough rest but most of the time he was just fine. You were just really worried he'd feel a lot of pressure so you'd make him talk to you about his worries which he admitted, made him feel better.

His body visibly relaxed when he fell asleep again knowing you're here to keep an eye out.
being as quiet as you possibly could, you closed the door of the bedroom behind you and walked to the kitchen, preparing an extensive breakfast with lots of sweet fruits, some pastries from your own recipes, and their favorite drinks and snacks.
You made the table as nice as you could and a lot of the food had heart shapes.
You loved to prepare surprises for them. It always made them so happy and Sun would often burst out crying and thanking you for everything because he felt so loved.
Both Moon and you would laugh about it.

You packed their presents, three each.
You even had a few heart shaped balloons and as for the finishing touch, you had a mini banner by the table with
"Will you be my valentine."

It was really exaggerated but it was fun to go all out on special days.
You took two towels to use as blindfolds and walked back to your room.

You sat down on the bed and softly rubbed their arms.
"Boys, wake up."

They slowly opened their eyes and the first thing Sun did was pull you in between them, placing kisses on your face.
"Well, good morning to you too." You laughed.
"I have a surprise for you two."

"Surprise? I love surprises!"
He immediately sat up and jumped out of bed, jumping in his place in excitement.
Moon on the other hand, got up slowly, groaning at the energy bomb.
You put the blindfolds on their faces and took their hands to guide them to the kitchen.
You placed them next to each other and stood behind them, ready to take their blindfolds off.
"Ready?"

"Yes!"
They both answered.
"Alright."

You pulled both of their blindfolds off.
"Happy valentines day!"

Both of them stared for a moment and like you expected, Sun started to cry and hugged you.
Moon and you started laughing but he joined you too.
You didn't fail to notice his eyes watering as well.
It was, after all, the day to celebrate love, and the face that you prepared so much really reminded him how much you loved them and it meant a lot to them.

When Sun finally calmed down and you let go of them, they looked at each other and nodded.
"Wait here for a little, we have a little something for you too."

After about five minutes they came back and told you to close your eyes and so you did.
You heard them mumble things like "How does this work with people?"

And "Hold on.. Yeah I think this is it."

"Moon, I'm nervous."
"Me too, shut up."

You almost burst out laughing but kept it in to let them prepare for whatever they were planning on.
"Okay, you can open your eyes."

You did as they said and gasped at the sight.
They both were before you with very anxious and hesitant faces, on one knee with both a little box and ring in their hands.
Sun was about to cry out of anxiety and Moon noticed so he took the lead.
"We uhm.. we did some research and we know we can't actually m- marry you.. but we still want to ask you to be ours forever and i- if you want to promise yourself to us, and we will promise ourselves to you.."

Even though your own thoughts were racing you had to control them since this seemed like a really difficult step to them because of their many insecurities.
You kneeled with them and gave them a smile.
"Don't be scared you two, and don't cry Sunny. Of course I will."
You placed a sweet kiss on Moon's lips first and then did the same to Sun.
"I love you two."
They smiled back at you and gave you a big hug again.
You could see in their faces they both got a huge confidence boost. .
They gave you their rings and each had one for themselves too.

"Hey, how did you get these rings?"
You shared your money with them but never saw you had lost a huge amount for rings, which is weird cause you really pain attention to that.
"Well.. We asked the neighbors for help. They helped us make them."
Your neighbors knew the boys too and you were pretty good friends with them.
The woman there makes her own jewelry for her hobby.

"Aww, I'll really have to thank her. This is really sweet you guys."
You placed another big kiss on their cheeks.
"But you haven't answered my question yet."
You pointed at the banner.
"Right, of course we'll be your valentines!"
Sun said and Moon nodded.

You enjoyed your breakfast together. They really loved their gifts.
You had self made bracelets with their own colors with little magnet hearts so that when you held hands, they would stick together. for both of them you also had a box of their favorite chocolates and for sun you had a soft yellow blanket since he always stole your favorite.
ANd Moon's last present was a big hoodie with a heart on it and "i love you big guy" on it. It was a joke and he was a little embarrassed but he loved it and would wear it at home.
That night you ordered your favorite food and watched a movie together, but went to bed early since you were tired from your shift.
