Poem of mass destruction

Bandits and cowboys duked

Anger fuels raining hell

Green around the gills of war

Houses breed death not life

Dictators wither like mortal leaves

Angered by each other's presence

Dominance in the short term

Statesmen fell over

Acres of flat sand uprooted

Defiant and stubborn

Damned is the civil cradle

A land on the edge

Morality is pushed to a point

Roads lead to ruin

Eagles join a lion

Days bleed into years

Danger is paramount

Able to not save all

Welded in forges of steel

Nations far and wide assist

Columns leave in droves

Omens leave it open

Abrams rolls under Chinook

Locals became the vanguard

Ideas build entire realms

Tenacious fights bear fruit

In servitude to conduct

Only the wise and strong

Neighbors desire no part

Indistinct from the grocer

Noted to history for good

Victory seems out of reach

Actions speak volumes

Surrendering souls sulk

Icons rise and fall

Old rivals give way and remain

New forces look to seize
