Snowmen made out of men
The horses froze to the hilt
We plod and trod back west
Our frowns frozen through
The emperor clambered in defeat
His army scattered on the brink
Ravenous eastern wolves on our heels
The worst winter stay
We freeze like flowers
Never to bloom again
Our conscience bitten and nipped
My wits and brothers are around me
As the Russian blizzard rolls in
