People often say,
'stop being selfish'.
Which also mean,
'think about others instead of yourself'.
How pathetic. They called us out on our "selfishness" when they seem to be the same.
Selfish.
Demanding us to put them as our top priority.
As if, we breathe to please them.
As if, this world revolves around them.
And as if, we don't have any right to live our life as we deem fit. Without any fear and worries of the effect it will be on others.
They are being selfish themselves don't you think?
Accused us only to fill our mind with never ending guilt. For making our own decisions instead of letting them play out our journey with the flick of their finger.
If being selfish stops us from sacrificing ourselves for their advantage, so be it. Where is the wrong in that?
