(This is to make up for the previous angst chapter. Updates may be a bit slow, I'm starting school and my show is in 2 days, I'm sorry.)

(ALSO- I got bored of writing Winter. Now it's spring. Sorry for any confusion.)

Okay, so this is how everything worked out:
Regulus had talked to James and Lily, they had clarified that they were in fact talking about Sirius, everyone apologized, all was well.

Now, the three were lying outside on a particularly nice day, holding hands, smiling at each other and occasionally making jokes. It was as close to perfection as you were gonna get.

"Did you hear about the upcoming quidditch game?" James said, smiling, causing a groan to escape from Lily. "Yes, James." Regulus said. "We all know about the quidditch game. It's all you have talked about recently." James shrugged.

"Anyways..." Lily said, trailing off. James picked a mangled flower up off the ground and sat up. He plucked another flower of a different colour from the ground. With great concentration, he twisted the two together, becoming extremely disappointed when they unraveled.

"Here." Lily said, picking another flower and helping him weave it in with the other two. Regulus shot up, silently picking three flowers and handing them to Lily, like a child trying to get someone to do a magic trick.

She giggled and braided Regulus's flowers together as well. He smiled and took the flowers, admiring them. That gave Lily an idea. She picked a handful of the flowers and let them fall into her lap, and started weaving them together like she had just done.

Regulus and James watched her, intrigued. Lily made two flower crowns, one for Regulus and one for James. She beamed at her work, placing both crowns on the boys. They all laughed and shared an affectionate smile.

Regulus wanted to know how she did that, and she explained everything her sister had taught her when they were younger. Before Petunia hated her. Regulus and James both made crowns for Lily, and she attempted to put them both on, chuckling when they fell off, gracefully hitting the ground.

The couple laughed, and James held onto Regulus and Lily's hands, kissing both. Everyone was unbelievably happy.

It was the kind of happy you feel when you buy a pair of jeans that fit just right, the kind of happy you feel when you don't have any homework to do, the kind of happy you feel when your favourite song comes on and you can dance and sing along to the lyrics. The kind of happy you feel when you love something - or someone - so much.

(Hehe not me incorporating my own feelings about my theatre cast into that last part 😅 Tell me please, do you guys like the shorter chapters or the longer ones?)
