Amelia's POV
I was trying to be on time today for the meeting which I'm never I walk into the conference room to find everyone there already just standing around I guess waiting for it to start.
"Shepherd you made it before Bailey good" I heard Jackson say from the chair then I go and sit down by mer and Maggie who are just giving me looks I don't know why though. "who's the guy" Maggie asked me "there is no guy" I told her "you sure because you and mr link seem kinda close" mer said smiling "that was well I don't know" I told her because we were just fooling around and now I think he actually has feelings for me
We see Bailey walk in with paperwork in her hand which can only mean one thing we are getting some new doctor "guys we are having a new transfer" Bailey said "from?" Jackson said "Los Angeles California" Bailey said "what's their name" I asked wondering who it might be "Mia Evans" Bailey said I felt my heart drop, that name is very familiar to me for many different reasons I don't want to go back on who I think it might be.
"what specialty?" mer asked Bailey then she had to look at the paper work again "she's a neurosurgeon" Bailey said maybe it was just some other woman who is a neurosurgeon. It couldn't be her why would she be here anyways? "when is she coming" Maggie asked Bailey "tomorrow" Bailey said "and you're telling us now!" Arizona said shocked "we didn't know if she was going to work here this was her second choice" Bailey said "she had a choice?" april says "once you see her it will all make sense" Bailey told us "as for now meeting is over be here tomorrow on time and meet in the lobby for her arrival" Bailey told us then letting us go.
Mia's POV
Today is the day I'm transferring to grey sloan and I heard good things about it which is why I chose it I just needed to get away from the whole California life and away from people and people in the past. I think I found the place because when I walked in I saw the big grey sloan sign so I had to be in the right place now I just needed to find dr.Bailey and get all set up
"I hope you're dr.Evans" I heard a voice and it was I'm assuming her "Dr.Bailey" I said "yes it's nice to finally meet you my other attendings should be on their way soon" she told me
Not long after I saw a whole group of people in a crowd walking up to me "hi I'm" and before I could finish I heard and very familiar voice from behind me "Mia" Arizona said running up to me and almost knocking me down. "you work here!" I said "yes you goofball I have for years" she said and everyone else was clearly confused "we both went to Hopkins together and when we became attendings we just lost contact and now I know why" I explained to all the doctors there.
"oh well I'm Dr.Jackson Avery" the blue eyed man said shaking my hand then we just went down in a row then I eventually met everyone who I was going to work with they all seemed nice and very wonderful people.
"ok so who is going to show her around" Bailey said then Arizona immediately raised her hand "me" Arizona said then she grabbed my hand to show me around the whole hospital this may have been the best choice I made to work at.
Amelia's POV
I was of course late to meet the new attending
but I'll meet her later I had to go check on my patients so had to go by the lounge to change real quick then leave to go. I walked up and went in and I saw Arizona and someone I honestly never thought I would see again she is someone from my past I love or loved she still looks the same it's like I'm seeing a ghost or something I really thought I wouldn't see her again
"Arizona you knew she was here or worked here" Mia said looking at Arizona "yeah? i didn't know if you wanted to talk" Arizona said "there's nothing to talk about" I said then Mia looked at me in my eyes her eyes are still so blue like always something I love about her.
"Let's go somewhere else" Mia said leaving the room before Arizona left I stopped her "you knew she was the new doctor?" I asked her "i promise you, i didn't she didn't even know i worked here" she explained to me, after they left I took a breather to just think about everything that is happening and just how I'm going to work with her.
Mia's POV
"why didn't you tell me" I asked her walking beside her in the hallway "after how you guys left things I didn't know if there was any talking going to happen between you guys" arizona told me I just looked at her "she was my fiancé! i have every right to know how she was doing" I said starting to get
mad "yeah was meaning no longer" she told me turning around we didn't even realize people were watching us this whole time
"yeah she probably doesn't even care about me anymore" i said "don't say that you never know" she told me "with the way we just had our little talk she seems to being just fine without me in her life" i told Arizona
