Amelia's POV
I woke up to Mia rushing to put on her clothes and grabbing her phone and everything "why are you up" I asked her "Tom called me saying he needs me which can only mean he screwed up my work" she said still rushing "but did he specifically ask for you" I kinda cried because she is suppose to be with me not with Tom "well he called me about my patient so he messed something up" she said I rolled my eyes and got up out of the bed
"be safe please" I said walking over to her leaning in for a hug I laid me head on her chest for while "always" she said kissing my forehead
she left "well girls I guess it's just us" I said looking down at my bump they have grown to the size of a watermelon which is crazy not to mention they could come anytime now and we barely have anything together
I decided to clean around the house and just enjoy me time while I can me and Mia had just finished the girls room last week so that is one thing off the list now it's just organizing all their clothes and putting it all away I was in the hall closet just putting away the living room blankets when I heard the door bell ring which is weird because I don't remember me inviting anyone or Mia telling me that anyone is coming over today
I walk over to the door and it's link "hey melia I'm in town for a while and mia told me to come because she knew you would be alone" he said standing at the door with a bunch of bags and flowers in the other hand. Weird? "What's all that" I asked him "if you let me in I'll be able to show you" he said then I let him in and we walked to the couch "I went baby shopping because I missed the baby shower but I hope this makes it up" he said he pulled out blankets and stuffed animals
"ok look through that later what is the girls name" he asked "oh baby A is Rylan Olivia Evans shepherd and baby B is Lexie Charlotte Evans shepherd" I told him "I love those names but do you need any help with anything" he asked me "I'm pretty much set besides the guest room and the twins room" I told him
"come on I'll help" he said "when do you like officially leave" I asked him "tomorrow which is why I'm checking up on you both" he said then I led him to the twins room
It was now 8 at night dark outside and it was also raining I felt this pain in my stomach but carina told me at this point in my pregnancy it could be Braxton Hicks but it was worse like hard core pain like I was being stabbed in the stomach like a million times "hey I'm going to sit for a little" I told link as I was holding my stomach he was facing the closet but he turned "hey you ok" he asked me "yeah probably just Braxton Hicks" I told him but then I pain got worse then I felt something
"your water...it broke" he said looking down at the floor "the girls are coming...OMG" I yelled in pain "come on we need to get to the hospital like right now" he said trying to get me up from the chair "link it hurts I can't" I cried out "ok can i call mia maybe she can come" he said "she is in some stupid surgery" I told him holding my stomach more "ok well you can't have the babies here so let's go" he said again "no it's raining and the roads are not safe..omg get these girls out of me" I yelled out loud
the rain started coming down harder and the windows started shaking "link can you stay with me" I asked him "yeah whatever you need" he said "can you call mia or carina if they don't answer call arizona" I told him
Mia's POV
I just got out of surgery and I haven't heard anything from Amelia which is weird but I know she is with link so I didn't really worry "hey zona? have you heard from melia at all today" i asked arizona we were just sitting around waiting since there is a storm
"actually no" she said "I should call her" I was about to leave then I saw carina running over to me "Mia wait" she said "hey what's up" i said "the twins are coming! amelia is at the house with link and her water broke" she said "omg ok is she on her way" I asked her
"about that she is also in pain to move so we have to do an emergency c section" she said "then how do we get the girls out" I asked her "link he has to put his big boy pants on and help deliver the girls at the house" she said that and I was in shock he can't do that
"so my daughters are coming without me" I said "yes you need to calm down and we need to go and set up an OR for her when she gets here" she told me "ok um how are we going to do this" I asked her "zona let's go we need your help" carina said dragging all of us with her
NO ONES POV
Mia and Arizona and carina all were standing by the nurses station getting ready to call Amelia. Arizona was kinda confused as too what was happening "hey why am I here" zona asked the women standing next to her
"melia is giving birth" Mia said slightly panic "What and is she coming" Arizona asked them "no she is in pain and the storm is bad..omg I should have never left her" Mia said she was the least calm one of of all of them
Moving on to the Evans-shepherd household link was being yelled at by Amelia because she wasn't ready to give birth and link didn't like that he was being yelled at by pregnant Amelia. "link call Mia" Amelia yelled at link "I did she didn't answer" link said kinda scared to say anything
"try again I'm having her kids and she won't answer...omg! this hurts so bad" Amelia was saying before she got interrupted by an contraction link on the other hand was trying to get Mia to answer but she didn't so he did as Amelia said call carina next she answered
"hey are you ready to start this process I think you need to Amelia is getting impatient" link told carina over the phone "yes we're tell her we have zona and Mia here" carina told him "ok I'm putting it on speaker" link told carina
carina and arizona were now going to try and help link deliver these girls the safety way possible without hurting both the girls and Amelia "ok hey melia how are you feeling" Arizona tried asking Amelia nicely but Amelia was just being mean at this point
"zona don't ask questions just help get these girls out of me" Amelia yelled through the phone that was also on speaker "melia change in plans of you do the c section" Arizona told Amelia now Amelia was freaking out
"you want link to cut through me" Amelia
said "yes babe if we want the girls here" Mia said now finally talking to Amelia "now you finally answer after forever Mia your daughters are literally kicking the living shit out of me and you don't answer" Amelia yelled at Mia
"ok Amelia can we just calm down" link tried his best "and you don't tell me what to do you were the one who started this" Amelia yelled to link "ok moving on melia do you know which girl is where" Arizona asked Amelia
"Lexie is on my lower part and Rylan is on the side just get them out" Amelia complained to them all "ok link you ready" carina asked him "I think so" link said "you better be you have my own kids in your hands and now my girlfriend don't screw up" Mia told him "Mia don't think like that" Arizona told Mia
"I'm just saying if they die" Mia said "ok don't think like that everyone is coming out alive and healthy" carina said "I'm ready" link said "Ok link make sure everything is sanitized then make a cut from the top going down" Arizona started instructing link through
