Amelia's POV
It has been 4 years since everything so we should probably catch up. we left la to go back home surprised to see everyone still alive then me and Mia talked then we kinda broke up then her and jo were kinda fooling around but me and Arizona shut that down real quick because that's just a simple no.
then we got back together then she asked me to marry her again then we actually got married this time umm let's see the girls are almost 5 which is crazy to even think about me and Mia both decided we don't want more kids oh and she finally forgave Jackson after these years.
"what are you doing" Mia asked me as she was walking into the kitchen I was sitting in the chair working on some research project that Meredith has now "mm Meredith wants me to do a little research on her project" I told her
she went over to the coffee maker oh and something else I forgot to mention we moved me and Mia built this big ass house for us and the girls and what we did with the other house is we sold it but it technically went in Arizona and jo's name if that makes any sense.
"what's the project on" she asked "something to do with ground breaking surgery" I told her
"sounds interesting..can I see" she asked I turned the laptop her way so she could see but she came closer she looked very into it then I saw her eyes wide and light up.
"that's Hamilton's project with Dr. Kai Bartley" she said "uh you remember them" I said "they were like a class lower than us at Hopkins" she said "mhm" I said then we hear the girls running in but they were also yelling also.
"hey why are we running in the house" I asked they immediately stopped in front of
my chair "lexie took the remote from me" rylan said she sounded very angry about it "because I didn't want to watch that" lexie said then they went back in forth for a good 2 minutes.
"I thought we were coloring on the chalkboard" Mia said "that got boring mama" lexie said if you can't tell by now we know who the bossy one is out of them "can we have our tablets" rylan asked but they already know the answer to this they ask literally every chance they get
"you guys know the rules" Mia said "but mama we" lexie was trying to talk "lex no" I said then they did their sister look then riles looked at me hoping the answer would change "girls no" Mia said this time they listened and left.
"ok so what's on our schedule this week" I asked Mia she is the one who normally plans out the schedule for the week because if not we get off schedule which I hate "work then we have that meeting for the girls for school" she told me "do we still want that" I asked her
we have been on the fence about if we want the girls to go to school but we also know they need to get some kid interaction besides seeing the doctors cut open people "I think it would be good if they go to school" she told me "yeah I do too but leaving them with other people yeah I don't like that" I said "they will be fine they'll have each other" she told me
"do you ever think about what if we did go to the same high school" she asked me "I'm glad we didn't go to the same school" i said "why" she asked "because we were both doing very different things and you know what I'm talking about" I said "yeah but would that change anything" she asked but what was she like?
"maybe not..what were you like in school" I asked her "I was..a..some would say nerd" she said this made me smile "oh so you like loved school" I said "yeah basically" she said "what so you would get to class on time do homework" I said "mmm no I got around" she said
"what do you mean got around" I said "I was smart but I would date people's" she said "oh so you dated every girl" I said then she had this face on "well not exactly" she said "a boy" I said then she nodded but I was shocked
"it was a mistake he was a jerk" she said but I was still shocked "were you" I asked "no I knew that I was gay but again when you're pretty and there's a hot guy it's kinda out of the ordinary in school that you don't end up together" she said " now maybe I wanted to see this Mia" I said she gave me a stare
I looked outside the window and the sun was going down "what are we doing about dinner" I asked "me and the girls will cook while you work on your little project thingy" she told me
"can you please get the girls bathed then we can start cooking" I asked "yes we can do that just work" she told me then she went to go and get the girls and ready for the rest of the night
I could say we made some improvements over these past years we seem healthy and that's all that matters. the girls are growing up and becoming these amazing people with their little dreams and not to mention we could be getting a jo and Arizona kid but don't plan on it cause with them we like neve know what happens.
