I hadn't talked to Jinx in a while, worried and curious as to why I decided to stop by her 'hideout' to see how she was doing. As always the room was poorly lit, drawings covered the walls, flooring, and even the ceiling, little bits of random metal scattered around the room. Soft cries could be heard from the side of her desk.

Walking over to her she was held tight in a ball, her head resting on her knees. "Jinx! What happened?" I immediately rushed to her side, holding her in my arms "It was a mistake. It was a mistake" She repeated muttering the words to herself. "What was?" I question, keeping my voice as calm as I can as to not cause more distress.

"I never meant to hurt them, I just wanted to help" She cries out and I instantly catch on to what she was talking about. It was common for Jinx to have flashbacks or memories of that night, she had told me about everything that happened and I made sure she knew that it wasn't her fault but she never chose to listen. I knew everything about her sister and Vander I think his name was, I know all about what happened with her monkey bomb and how her sister left her.

Holding Jinx closer to me, I feel her arms wrap around my waist. I place a small kiss on her head and begin to talk "Jinx, we both know better than anyone that everything that happened that night wasn't your fault. You were young and didn't know what was happening, your main goal was to protect and you tried your hardest" I inform her, I say words like this often but always find ways to change it up a bit.

She lets go of me still sniffling but the tears had stopped "I think she is back" Her voice was grim and dull. "Who?" I had no idea who she could have been talking about, her eyes meet mine; the diamond blue eyes glassy from tears she hesitates before continuing "Vi shes- shes back" She lowers her head, I was stunned "I thought she was-" "Dead, yeah me too" Jinx's voice changed from serious to childish in a way, she was laughing slightly.

"All this time Silco had me believing she was dead but now... now I'm being told she's walking the streets of Zaun" She had somehow moved over to one of the large fan wings, laying down on top of it. It amazed me how quickly her attitude and presence could change, I walk over to her and lay down next to her; Pushing aside her weird behavior I know she still isn't ok.

"And how does that make you feel?" "Honestly I don't know- should I be happy that my sister is alive or mad because the one person I trusted, the one person who made me feel like I was worth something left then came back?" Her voice had dropped again and I could tell she was close to a spiral.

"You are worth everything Jinx" I move my hand over hers, turning my head to look at her "I hope you know that. Don't let anyone make you feel like your not because you are... your worth anything and everything that lives on this earth and more" I smile at her, she smiles back before quickly sitting up.

"Say, darling, does Silco know you here?" Silco was still yet to find out about me and Jinx and I wasn't excited for when he does, he has always been protective over Jinx, and letting someone get too close to her is a big no in his books. "Nope and I intend to keep it that way" I laugh as if on queue a voice echos from nearby "Jinx!" It was Silco. "You need to hide" Jinx laughs whilst I began to panic, she knew how much Silco scarred me but always found joy in it.

I give her a quick kiss then run behind the couch, my usual hiding spot. As I sat down I let out a long deep breath I didn't know I was holding in, listening quietly to their conversation.
