Vi had been home way less the past few days and you grew suspicious about what was taking up to much of her time.
It was finally the night Vi was taking you out for dinner and you were beyond excited because it meant time for just the two of you to hang out together. No distractions, do interruptions, just you two.
You rummaged around in your cupboard for something nice to wear, Vi had informed you that tonight has a 'formal dress code' in her words. Picking out a light green dress, its medium in length is longer in the back than the front, and paired it with some silver heels that wrap around your ankle with lace.

Curling your hair and adding some jewelry, you spin around in the mirror admiring your physique. Your light with makeup, some pale pink lipstick, eyeliner, and blush are the main things you put on.
"You look stunning" Vi whispers in your ear as her arms slither around your waist, she buries her head into your neck leaving a trace of soft kisses against the skin. You turn around in her arms and take a look at her outfit, a gorgeous suit as always. You press a light kiss on her lips then walk away to get your purse.
Vi took you both to a fancy restaurant, the warm summer night meant beautiful weather to sit outside which is exactly what you did. You sat on the second floor of the restaurant out on a balcony, the view was incredible, perfectly overlooking Piltover.
You were both enjoying yourselves except there was something about Vi's behavior that made her seem nervous or worried which confused you seeing you had been on like 100 dates.
You take a sip of your wine and look back out to the city admiring its beauty in the night. You turn back to Vi and catch her staring at you in awe "Your starring Vi" You giggle "You're just... so pretty" She speaks, mesmerized by the angle in front of her. A light blush spreads on your cheeks bringing a bright smile to Vi.
Once you had both finished your food and were getting ready to leave Vi seemed very obsessed with her phone. She took you for a walk around the park, claiming she didn't want the night to end. You didn't mind really because you too weren't ready to go home.
Her phone starts to ring and she looks at you sympathetically "I'm so sorry I have to take this" She says walking away in a rush. You watch as she runs between two trees and you end up sitting on a park bench close by while you wait.
It was no secret that you were annoyed, this night was meant to be you and Vi and she has just left you in the middle of the park at night to answer a call.
It had been about 10 minutes now and Vi still wasn't back, whatever this call is it better be damn important because you were losing your patients.
Another 10 minutes passed and you were still sitting on the bench by yourself. You grow annoyed and walk off to the same place you saw Vi run off to in search of her.
"Vi? Where did you go?" You call out looking around the park, You hear whispers and the faint rustling of leaves and decided to look there. "Vi this isn't funny!" You say, the anger evident in your voice.
There was like a fence of trees and bushes, you huff as you walk around it but once you do you're met with a big surprise.
You look around as you see fairy lights glistening in the night, rose petals scattered around the grass. A picnic blanket is laid out with Vi standing in the middle of it, Candles around you both forming a bit of a runway as you slowly walk over to Vi.
"Vi? What is this?" You ask, still looking around at the scenery. "Suprise" She chuckles "You did all of this?" You smile at her "I had a bit of help but they left ages ago it's just us now" She tells you.
You stand in front of her as she holds her hands in yours "Do you recognize this place?" She questions "No, I'm sorry" It was a bit hard due to the little lighting provided around you "That's ok" Her voice was sweet and calm "We had our first date right here, you wanted to go on a picnic and I thought that because this spot is hidden from the rest of the park it would be perfect... and it was" She smiles at you brightly.
"I knew from that day that you were different, you weren't like the other girls I had been with. You were funny and caring and loving, you were exactly what I wanted" Her words make your face burn up and your smile continues to grow bigger with each loving compliment.
She disconnects your hands and reaches for something in her pocket, a slight gasp escapes your lips as you watch her kneel on the ground.
"Y/n, I knew from that day that I wanted to marry you and today I finally get the chance to ask you" She takes a deep breath, and tears of joy threaten to fall "Y/n Y/l/n, will you marry me?" She asks you, opening the small box and showing you a gorgeous diamond ring.
"Yes!" You squeal in excitement, she slid the ring on your finger (a perfect fit) And jumps up, pulling you into a sweet, passionate kiss.
Your arms wrap around her neck pulling her closer to you, overcome with joy. You pull away from the kiss and stare at the ring, you were getting married!
Vi invites you to sit down as she rants about how nervous she was to ask you and explained that this was the reason for her absence the past couple of days. Although you could listen to Vi rant on for ages you pull her into another kiss, shutting her up.
Pulling away she only smiles at you. You talk for ages about anything, mainly things for the wedding (Yes already) But Vi didn't mind, hearing how excited you got knowing you get to plan a big event and it is for you honestly made her fall in love all over again
This was truly a night to remember and you couldn't be happier.
