After Lucifer was done explaining to me how to do the RAD tasks, he asked—and by asked I mean ordered—Mammon to take me to the House of Lamentation and show me where I'll be staying in there.

And Mammon just kept grumbling the entire way about how "unlucky" he was and how "that just ain't fair" to him.

-"That rotten bastard...Does he really think he can scare me into doin' whatever he wants?" He complained loudly, and I just tried to ignore his words and follow him silently.

Noticing my lack of talking, he turned to look at me, hoping to "clear things up".

-"Just so we're clear, it's not like I can't say no to Lucifer, okay?! I only agreed to babysit you because, um...well y'know, because...uh..." he paused, looking for an excuse before shouting, "Anyway, it doesn't matter! Just don't go thinking that I am scared of Lucifer or anything! Because I am not!"

He is definitely scared of Lucifer.

-"Honestly, I really don't care." I said giving him a bored look.

-"WHAT?! Oh now you're REALLY in for it...!" He said angrily before his expression turned into a more curious one, "...Although, come to think of it, I'm surprised you've got the guts to talk to me like that, you are not scared?!"

-"Scared?" I repeated, raising an eyebrow.

-"Well y'know, I am a demon, you do get that right?"

I was scared, terrified even, but there is no way in hell I was going to show them that, I have no idea what they are going to do with me if they sense the slightest bit of vulnerability from me.

So, I just gave Mammon a shrug.

-"...Hmph. You are one strange human, I'll give you that." He said, furrowing his eyebrows.

-"I'll take that as a complement." I said, smiling slightly.

-"...Ugh whatever. Let's move on." He rolled his eyes.

After a couple of minutes, we finally reached the House of Lamentation.

It looked straight out of a horror movie.

It was a big black mansion—no more like castle. It had many gigantic windows, most of them with the curtain drawn from the inside, concealing whatever is in there. However one room stood out, with a dim light shining from the inside, and I could barely make out a silhouette of a person in there.

Someone must be home.

The mansion was surrounded by a metal gate that creaked loudly when Mammon swung it open. As we both stepped inside, I looked around the giant front yard of the house.

There was a big dead tree that had quite a lot of crows spread across its branches, and instead of flying away when we passed by the tree, they stared at us with intent eyes.

It felt like they were staring through my soul.

As we continued walking through the path that led to the front door of the house, I noticed what looked like graves scattered across the yard, their stones reflecting the light of the big bright moon that decorated the pitch black Devildom sky.

I wonder who these graves belong to.

Finally, we reached the front door, and Mammon fished the keys out of his pocket and unlocked the door.

-"Aight, it's time I show you to your room." Said Mammon with an exhausted sigh.

He headed for a staircase and I followed suit, him leading me to were I assumed my room was.
