Chapter 3: "The idiot has arrived."

-"So, you guys just basically expect me to survive here? On my own?"  

"Of course not. A human in the Devildom will obviously need someone to look after them." He continues, "And that someone should be my brother Mammon. He is the Avatar of Greed, ...and he should have been here thirty minutes ago."

He glances at his watch in disapproval before looking at the other men in the room, who only shrug in response.

However, I still try to connect the dots to expect what that Mammon would be like...

Diavolo mentioned Lucifer to be the Avatar of Pride, thus Lucifer is expected to be the embodiment of that, and he indeed is, carrying himself with dignity.

So, if that Mammon is the Avatar of Greed, he must be...

A total scum.

Great. Just my luck.

Though to be fair, I can't take my expectation to be a fact. I probably should give him a chance.

Who knows? Maybe I am wrong. I hope I am wrong.

Lucifer proceeds to teach me how to use the D.D.D. Which is basically the Devildom phone.

-"Now, why don't you try calling Mammon with it? Perhaps remind him of his commitments?" Lucifer suggests, foot tapping against the marble floor.

I call Mammon, with Lucifer intently watching me, as if he was making sure I would not try to run away.

The phone rings a few times before Mammon picks up.

-"Yoooo." I hear a voice speak against my ear.

-"Yoooo." I reply, not helping but smile a little at how casual he was.

I could already tell he was the complete opposite of Lucifer.

Maybe we will get along just fine.

-"Are ya foolin' around? Who the hell are ya?" He says confused.

Fooling around? I literally just matched his tone...

Then it hits me that he might not know that he is talking to the new human exchange student.

-"I am the new human exchange student." I said, hoping he would catch on.

-"Whaaa? A human?" He says sounding even more confused.

He is definitely not catching on.

Then I hear him give a sigh of relief.

-"Geez. I was getting all chilly here thinkin' it was Lucifer again. Ya should've told me right away."

So, he is scared of Lucifer...interesting.

-"So, what business does a human got with THE Mammon."

Does he really not know?

-"You will be in charge of me from now on." I explain calmly.

-"No way! There is nothin' in it for me."

...Looks like I was right, he IS a scum.

-"I was told you were assigned to-"

-"Nice. Well, g'luck with that. I'll see ya."

This guy-
Is he really going to just leave me like that?!

I start to internally panic.
I will be stuck here for the rest of the year.
In a world full of demons.
And the guy who is supposed to take care of me turned out to be the type who dodges responsibility like bullets.
