Infinitely happy. Free. Shining in love
Your eyes turn into little slits, tiny wrinkles form. A thousand glances, a thousand moments. Billions of galaxies light up, shining full of happiness. When I look into your eyes, I see them sparkle.
Your mouth, your rose-coloured lips, twists into a hearty laugh. Your teeth show.
Perfect.
Even the little missing edge. Wrinkles of laughter appear on your cheeks, you wrinkle your nose.
Laughing you turn. Over and over again. Your hair flutters, embraces your face. Turning with the rhythm, wild, free.
I love to see you so happy. So cheerful.
Laughing and grabbing the back of your neck. Wiping tears from your face that unstoppably find their way down your red cheeks. Crying of joy. Tears of happiness.
Your face full of joy. Pure happiness. And for a moment, everything is in harmony.
Perfect.
"I love you, most ardently."
A quote from your favourite movie. Why you love this one so much I'll never understand, but even though we've watched it a hundred times, you'd still see it a thousand times more.
A love story. A romance.
Every time you look at the screen with fascination, even though you know the ending.
I love your joy over the smallest things. The joy you have when you watch the same film over and over again and snuggle up in the blanket like a baby at the final scene to watch with wide eyes and red cheeks. Smiling all over your face.
"You have bewitched me body and soul. And I love, I love, I love you."
Another quote of that damm movie.
When I look at you like this, you seem like a butterfly. Luminous, colourful, painted with millions of different shades.
Every detail of you is a work of art, a beautiful painting.
A butterfly.
Small, sometimes inconspicuous, but when it spreads its wings breathtakingly beautiful. Flying freely, bathed in sunlight, greeted by flowers.
The only pity is, a butterfly doesn't know how beautiful it is. It never sees its wings. Never the colours with which they are painted. Never the beautiful patterns.
Everyone admires it, gazes at it. A masterpiece of nature.
Just like you.
Isn't it incredible?
You will never see how your eyes turn into slits, how tiny wrinkles form. How your eyes shine, how they sparkle at me.
You will never see how your mouth twists into a hearty laugh.
How you wrinkle your nose.
All the little details, all the little flaws that make you perfect. Complete. Beautiful.
Like a butterfly that will never see its wings.
But I hope you know it. I hope I can show it to you. I hope you feel it.
YOU ARE A WORK OF ART
