Hailey's POV
I smile as I get in JJ's car in the passenger seat. I told him about the lake once. Matt and I used to go there all the time. I haven't been there for about three years. There's a cabin and everything. I just think some of us are going to have to sleep on the floor.
JJ gets in the drivers seat and Jack and Matt get in the back seats. We start driving and Matt tells JJ were to go while Cameron and Nash are following us.

Once we get to the lake I quickly exit the car and go to the trunk to get my bags that luckily Jack told us we needed to get. I open the trunk then drag my bag into the cabin. I go to the biggest room then throw my bag on the bed.
" Hailey, we only have two beds and a couch how are we going to do the sleeping arrangements " Matt yells at me from the door. I roll my eyes before going out to him.
" There's six of us so three in one bed, two in the other, and someone sleeps on the couch. So... Matt you get the couch and I'll room with the Jacks and Cameron and Nash can share. " I quickly explain. I know Matt didn't care about getting the couch because it's actually quite comfortable and I wanted to piss Nash off by rooming with JJ since I know Nash is jealous of him. I'm so going to win the bet.
Jack and Jack put their stuff in the room before Matt comes in and tells us to change into swimmingsuits since we're going out to the lake. I grab my neon pink bikini before running into the bathroom connected to our room.
Once I'm out the boys are already in there swimming trunks and a shirt. I grab the Jacks' hands before pulling them downstairs. I didn't even care that I wasn't wearing anything over my bikini, I was way to excited to speak. I haven't been swimming in like a year, no exaggeration.
" Somebody looks hot " Nash says as soon as I get into the main room so I glare at him. Good thing Matt must still be changing. What is taking him so long.
He finally comes back, I grab my neon blue towel since I'm feeling very neon today before we go to the shore. I throw my towel on the chairs that have been there since I was little before running towards the lake. Screw tanning, I love this lake.
" Guys, can we please play Marco Polo " I ask doing a puppy down face after they've also got into the water.
They all agree and I yell not it and they catch on. JJ being the last one to say it last. I smile at him before he starts counting to twenty. I swim away from him and stop once he gets to twenty.
" Marco " he yells after swinging his arms out around him for awhile.
" Polo " I yell back alone. Those cheeky little bastards. JJ turns in my direction and starts swimming so I swim away not looking behind me.
I feel somebody's hand wrap around my ankle and pull me back so I try to squeal but water only fills my mouth. The hand around my ankle turns into arms around my waist as I come above the water's surface to be met with JJ's face. I frown at him so he smiles triumphantly.
" No fair, you so opened your eyes " I pout sticking my bottom lip out so he shrugs.
" Oh well, you're it, have fun " he says before letting go of my waist. " And don't forget to count to twenty "
I end up finding Matt and he complains so we quite the game and decide on chicken. I end up on Nash's shoulders. JJ on Jack's and Matt on Cameron's.
Of course, JJ and I may have cheated and pushed Matt off before it was time, but he deserved it. Just because he's Matt.
JJ and I are pretty evenly matched I would say. I mean I couldn't probably beat any of these boys if I was determined and had a good partner. Literally it's like Nash and Jack are doing most of the work, trying to stay above water and all.
" Just give up Espinosa, I'm going to win " JJ yells over to my so I squint my eyes at him.
" In your dreams Johnson " I say annoyed before shoving him only for him to shove me back and Nash to lose his footing and both of us falling into the water.
After playing many childish and water related games we eventually went back to the cabin taking showers and changing into basketball shorts or sweatpants and tank tops or sweatshirts. I changed into basketball shorts and a tank top because I felt too hot for sweating clothes. The boys decides to be hot too because they all refused to put on shirts and some wearing shorts others wearing sweatpants. I don't really care since I'm in the kitchen making popcorn for everybody because their lazy asses couldn't do it.
" Hailey hurry up, I'm hungry " Matt complains from the living room.
" And the movie's ready " Jack adds so I grab the six bags of popcorn throw a bag at each of the boys.
" Stop complaining, appreciate that I actually made you popcorn " I say before sitting next to Matt and Cameron starting the movie, Cinderella. Since I insisted of course, I wanted to see the new version so I am very excited. I don't think I've seen the original in years. I need to watch that.
My attention goes the movie as it starts and I rest my head on Matt's shoulder.
