"Why should we live together? I don't think there's a need for that," I said.
"It will bring a more effective need for this. We'll feel comfortable as time passes. I promise you," Adam said.

Then, Rita said she had an idea for something. She didn't speak anything until dinner was over. I guess she was hungry.
"What is it?" I asked as dinner was over.
"Let's go to Vegas! We have a long weekend starting the day after tomorrow due to Thanksgiving. And we can spend some time together." she suggested.
"That's an awesome idea. Let's do that!" I said.
"Ok. Why not?" Addy said
"Ri, we have a lot of work. We can't just go on a vacation leaving all that." Ben told Rita.
"Oh, come on. We can finish all that later too. Stop being such a dad." Ri said making Addy and I laugh.
"Fine. We'll go. But now let's go home. It's getting late." Ben tried to cover it up.
"Poor Ben. Enjoy. Let's go, Addy?" I asked.
"Sure. Thank you so many guys for this. I loved it." he thanked them.
"No problem. Bye. Bye Anna." Ben and Rita said.
"Bye," I said.
We bid our goodbyes and Adam and I left from there.
"Hey, what do you think of the Vegas idea?" Adam asked as he was driving.
"I'm dying for a vacation," I said making him laugh.
"Lol. Me too. I'm tired too. Well, we can enjoy it after tomorrow." he cheered me up.
"I know. Just one more day!" I said.
"Ok, we're here," he said.
"Not here," I said.
"What? this isn't your house anymore?" he asked me confusedly.
"Nope," I said.
"I think you're just drunk. Come on. This is your house." he said.
"Adam. This isn't!" I exclaimed in anger.
"Oh really? Then where is it?" he asked.
"Drive to your house," I asked.
"What??" he asked.
"Just drive. Will you?" I ordered him.
"Okay," he said.
His face was confused. Well, this is a good surprise.
"Anna, we're here. What now?" he asked me.
"Get down," I said.
"Fine," he said.
"So...? Wait, why are you closing my eyes?" he asked me.
"Just wait. Come with me now." I said.
"Ok...open!" I said as we reached the front door. This was the house right next to Adam's!!
"Wha...? Did you buy this house?" he asked me in a shocked tone.
"Yeah!" I exclaimed in joy.
"When? How?" he asked me.
"Yesterday with money," I said teasingly.
"I know that. But...but I can't still believe it," he said.
"I know!" I said.
"You're staying right next to me!" he exclaimed.
"Addy! Put me down." I said.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Didn't mean to do that," he said and put me down.
"It's fine. Oh, you have sweater fuzz in your hair. Let me..." I asked and took it out.
"Oh, thank you," he said.
"No problem," I said.
Then our eyes met. We were so close than we imagined. His lips were right near mine. I moved back but pulled him by mistake as my bracelet was caught in his suit. His lips fell on mine. For a few seconds, we were just like that. But then later he took over. He kissed me slowly as if he was caressing me in his arms. His lips were soft against my own. I put my arm over him and kissed him. He pulled me closer. His breath tickled me, making me laugh silently. Then we broke apart to breathe. I spoke after a couple of minutes. I said good night, finally gained my words! And went into the house.
I had already moved my furniture so I was set in. I felt so bad for not even inviting him inside. But, what I did was maybe right. I mean after that I don't think I would have even the littlest of confidence to ask him to come inside. I ran to my room, fell on the bed, and thought of the kiss. it was our first kiss. I didn't imagine it would be today, on his birthday. My cheeks were pink and hot as I looked in the mirror. I thought of him being with me for the rest of my life. Wish that would work out but for now- I love you, Addy so much...
