Anna Hall
I woke up after a good night's sleep. Even though 'that' was in my mind, I tried to ignore it and went to brush my teeth. After I did so, I remembered Adam. Where is he? I went to the kitchen to see if he was there. He wasn't. I checked the other rooms too. He wasn't there too. Then I opened the sliding door which led to the backyard and peeked outside.
Ring Ring
It was Ri. I couldn't speak to her right now. After what happened yesterday, I don't even think I'll find the words or courage to talk to her so I ignored her call.
"Searching for me?" someone said from behind making me get startled. When I turned around, it was Adam.
"Oh my god! You scared me." I told him with my hand on my heart.
"Sorry," he answered. That's all?
"You were searching for me, I suppose?" he asked.
"Yes, I was searching for you," I said.
"Why so?" he asked.
"I wanted to say thank you for taking care of me, last night when I was sick," I said and smiled at him.
"No problem. I'll always be here for you. No matter what. Ok?" he asked.
"Okay. So, what's for breakfast?" I asked as I sat on the kitchen counter.
"Coconut pancakes," he answered smiling.
"My favorite! How do you remember?" I asked.
"Anna. I've known you since...well a long time," he answered.
"I know. But thanks for remembering." I said.
"No problem. I'll bring the pancakes. Go and sit at the table." he said.
"Okay. Smells so yum." I whispered to myself.
"Go sit down missy," he said.
"Fine!" I said.
"Here you go. Hope you like them," he said as he kept the pancakes in front of me.
"Oh, I promise you I will," I said.
"Stop acting like a foody," he said as he sat down.
"I love food!" I exclaimed in a teasing manner.
"Yeah right. Ok anyways, eat," he said.
As I ate one bite of the pancake, it was just like how I like it. It tastes so good. "It's amazing Addy," I said.
"Good," he said and sighed.
"Why are you sighing? What did I do?" I asked.
"Oh, you want me to tell you what you did last night?" he asked.
"Oh god! WHAT DID I DO NOW?" I shouted.
"Calm down. Sit down. Eat." he said.
"First, tell me what happened," I asked.
"Nothing. I just wanted to tease you. But just one thing, you don't remember pulling me over you." he said.
"What now?" I asked.
"Nothing, just leave it," he said.
"But..." I started when he stopped me.
"Leave. It. Understood?" he said.
"Okay. Fine." I said and stuffed a piece of pancake in my mouth in anger.
"Do you have any work today?" he asked.
