"What's going on in that busy mind of yours?" Chris asked as we sat down to eat lunch at our favorite restaurant.

"A few nights ago, Amanda asked me if I wanted to move to Washington." I said as our server got done taking our orders.

"What do you mean?" Chris asked.

"Dad wants me to further my studies with the path that I chose. And I want to talk to you about it." I started to panic but he smiled and reached for my hand and held it.

"You want me to go?" he asked as he smiled and I nodded. "Of course I will. I thought you'd never asked." he winked.

"Wait... what? You knew about this?" I squinted at him.

"It was actually my idea. I told your dad about it while we were gone." he said as our server dropped off our drinks.

"You are so gonna get it, Mr. Evans." I growled at him playfully and he laughed quietly.

We ate our lunch then went to a local metaphysical shop.

"Welcome, Sage. I have been waiting for you." The lady behind the counter said.

"Hi. I'm sorry, but how did you know I was coming here?" I asked, confused.

"I had a feeling." She smiled as she walked towards us, "What can I help you with today, my dear?" she asked.

"I'm looking to get some sage." I said as Chris started to walk around.

Once he was out of earshot the lady leaned in and said, "You're destined to be with the man you are with but half of your destiny is missing. Keep that in mind. Once You've found the other half, everything will fall into place." She smiled and touched my arm, I was then shown a vision of Sebastian smiling at me. Once she walked away, I found myself wiping tears.

"Come on, I'll show you where the sages are." She said as she stopped by a door and turned around to look at me. I followed her in silence.

She helped me grab the sage that I need and some herbs to use for other things. Chris paid and we left.

I was quiet the whole drive home and Chris seemed to notice. He reached for my hand and put it up to his lips to kiss it.

"I love you." he said.

I looked at him and smiled.

I was in the kitchen making some kind of tincture ro ease the fogginess after I phase back from my moon form. I heard dad, Amanda talking and I feel their eyes are on me.

"Do you think something's going on with her and Chris?" Dad asked Amanda.

"I don't know but it sure seems like it." Amanda answered.

"What is she making anyway?" dad asked.

"I don't know but I smell ginger and ginkgo." I heard Amanda say.

"What are you guys doing just standing there?" Chris asked the two as he approached them and I looked at and laughed at them.

"Oh nothing, we were just about to grab something to drink." Dad said as all three of them entered the kitchen.

"You guys are weird." I chuckled, "Nothing happened between me and Christopher. I'm just so focused on this." I pointed at the mixture of herbs that are in the pot, simmering away. I covered it and put the heat on low before setting a timer on my phone. "Chris, can I talk to you?" I said as I grabbed him by the arm and led him upstairs to our room.

"Hey, are you okay?" he asked as we got inside my bedroom.

"The lady at the metashop, she..." I sighed and started to pace, "she told me something then when she touched me, I saw Sebastian."
