"Izzy... Christopher..." Silas called out from the living room.

"Are you alright?" I asked as I got to the living room, followed by Chris

"Yeah. I just need to send you two back for now." Silas looked sad.

"Papa, I know how to get here now. So just summon me and I'll come here when I can." I hugged Silas for the last time before we had to go.

Once I pulled away, Silas took his pocket watch and handed it to Chris, "It's your means of transportation if you want to escape and come here."

Chris took the pocket watch and examined it, "Thank you, sir. For trusting me with this, and of course with your daughter." Chris smiled.

"No, Christopher." Silas smiled at him, "Thank you for putting up with this stubborn girl. And thank you for loving her."

"I am not stubborn." I whispered.

"I heard that." Both Silas and Chris said.

Silas walked up to me and hugged me again, "I'll miss you my lovely daughter. Go take care of yourself and André." he pulled away and shook Christopher's hand. "Take care of my daughter and my grandson." With that, we were transported back to our backyard in the plane of the living.

"Sage," Amanda ran up to me and hugged me, "You're finally back." She smiled.

"I wasn't gone that long." I said, not hugging back.

"Sage, what happened to you?" She asked as she pulled away.

"I... I don't know. I just can't live where I know I've been lied to by the people I love and trusted." I smiled faintly and walked away. I heard Chris talk but I couldn't make out what was said. I walked up the stairs and into my room. A nice warm shower is calling my name so I started undressing as soon as I closed the door and left the trail of clothes on the floor.

"Sage, sweetheart, are you in here?" I heard Chris call out.

"Almost done in the shower." I yelled out. I hurriedly finished up, dried and wrapped a towel around me before getting out of the shower.

"Hey there, sexy." Chris walked towards me and kissed my forehead, "Are you alright?" He asked and all I could do was nod. "Come on, let's get you dressed." he smiled at me and led me to the closet. He helped me get dressed and when we were done I looked up at him and kissed him.

"Let's start our life together away from here." I blurted out.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"I need to get away from here. I feel like I'm being veiled." Silas told me about this possibly happening but I didn't realize it was really happening until we got back.

"Our house isn't done yet. Do you want to stay at Silas' place with Scott and André?" he asked as we walked back to the bed.

"If it's possible. I want to test this theory about being veiled." I climbed on to the bed and got under the blanket.

"I'll talk to Amanda." Chris smiled. "I'm going to shower. Don't wait up for me." he smiled and bent down to give me a kiss before going to the bathroom.

It has been a month since we got back, dad is due to come back home in a couple of days and we are just waiting for his arrival before we leave. Amanda has been really helpful by telling me what she knows. I offered her to come with us but I guess her love for my dad is still stronger than what's good for her.

"Sage, do you have all your stuff packed and ready?" She asked as she entered my room.

"Yes, mom. The rest will be packed by the movers tomorrow." I smiled.
