I woke up early and headed straight to the nursery. "Hey, baby," I said as I leaned over his crib and saw him smiling. "I've missed you, little man." I carried him and we sat on the recliner and I started to feed him. I was humming to him when all of a sudden I felt him bite. "Ow." I hissed and realized he needed another kind of sustenance. Once he was unlatched, he was one happy little man. "You bit mommy." I smiled, "But it's okay because my little man needs it." I got up and walked over to the changing table and changed him before going back to my room.

"We have to be quiet, daddy is still sleeping," I whispered to André as we sat on the bed. I laid down and let my son lay on my chest. I kissed the top of his head and started humming.

"Good morning my beautiful wife and son," Chris whispered.

I turned my head and smiled at him, "good morning my love. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up."

"It's alright." He said as he sat up and took André from me. "Hey, little man. How are ya? I've missed you so much." André giggled, "I know, it's been a while. You're not going anywhere anymore. Mommy, daddy, uncle Scott, and grandpa Silas will be by your side."

I watched him talk to our son and it made me think of how different it would be if Sebastian was here. I felt Chris' hand wiping a tear on my cheek.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

"Yeah. I was just thinking how different it would be if..." I stopped myself before I could say Sebastian's name.

"If Sebastian was here?" Chris smiled and I nodded. "He will be a great dad to André too." I looked up at him surprised. "Silas has been helping get him back."

I sat up, "Are you for real?" I said as I started to tear up again. "Do you mean it?"

"Look, André, mommy seems happy today," he told André.

"CHRIS! SAGE! I CAN'T FIND..." Scott burst into our room making André cry. "André is with you two..." He smiled apologetically.

"He's already been fed and changed." Chris handed him over to Scott.

"Silas said breakfast is ready. I'll put this little guy down then I'll join you guys in the dining room." Scott smiled and left to put André down for his first nap.

I got up and got ready for the day before heading downstairs to join the family for breakfast.

"Good morning, sweetheart." Silas greeted me as I sat down beside him. "How was your sleep?" he asked as he started putting food on my plate.

"It was great. The best sleep I've ever had since..." I suddenly realized that it has been since Seattle when I saved Sebastian.

"Come on, eat up. You need your energy later." Silas smiled as I started eating.

"Good morning, wifey." Chris kissed the top of my head before sitting beside me. "Good morning, sir." he greeted Silas.

"Good morning. Chris, please just call me Silas." Silas laughed. "Since it's the weekend, I'm giving you the house to yourselves. Scott, André, and I will be going somewhere to give you two some alone time. Now that my daughter is not under a veil anymore."

"Thank you, papa." I leaned on his shoulder and he put an arm around me and rubbed my shoulder.

"You two have never had your 'wedding night' so make this weekend last," Scott said as he entered the dining room.

"Scottie, you shush." I grinned at him.

Breakfast went by quickly and at quarter to noon, the three were already out the door.
