Jungkook wants to go for a swim, it had been months till the last time he had seen the ocean, and as much as his very expensive bathtub can give him satisfaction nothing can ever come close to swimming freely in the ocean.
He missed the scent of saltwater, how it used to feel with sea algae touching his fins making him feel so close to home.
He knows that as soon as he will meet his mate he will go back to his home but now he doesn't know how long it would take.
So he did the next best thing he knew.
He picked up the small wallet containing some money and the bus card Lisa had made for him and took the bus to the mermaid association.
He had heard Jennie and Rosé talk about the special door that leads to the ocean, and although he knew that he is not one of the important figures to be allowed to use the special service but Lisa is.
And if he put on the best pout, he knows he will be allowed to use it with an exception.
Jungkook jumped down his destined stand hopping toward the entrance. Head clearly in clouds and no idea where he was hopping too.
Until he collided with someone's back falling down and in turn toppling the person down with him.
Before he can die with embarrassment and let out a string of apologies the strong buzz in his soul crystal made his tongue feel heavy in his mouth as he looked down at the person who is his destined mate with big eyes as if trying to embed that face in his brain forever.

Taehyung snarled loudly gripping the boy laying on top of him as he felt someone trying to tug away from his mate from him.
His poor cute unprotected mate away from him.
The cloud covering his mind seems too dark, too thick, too paranoid. His soul crystal had stopped buzzing but his mind and brain were still buzzing with the adrenaline rush that came from someone trying to separate his newly found mate away from him.
Jungkook on the other hand never felt as relaxed as he did at that moment, he could see the chaos happening around him but it was all in mute as if he could hear nothing over his newly found soulmate wildly beating heart.
He snuggled further into his mate's hold releasing a long deep breath.
The others look at the two of them with mouths opened no idea what was going on and why the two who claim to hate other species as much as they do are lying so comfortably on each other's embrace not looking like they will want to be separated any time soon.
Jimin took cautious steps forward, slowly, ready to back off in case Taehyung shows any signs of hostility.

When he was close enough and still Taehyung didn't react aggressively he put his hand on his shoulder jerking him a bit trying to wake him up from whatever fucked up mindset he had gone into.
However, before he can try once more he got a handful of the little mermaid in his arms.
The unexpected gesture made both the mermaid and Jimin jerk back a bit making Jimin almost lose the hold on the mermaid.
However, his prior confusion quickly got washed off as he felt that buzz he had felt the last time decades ago and a small piece that had been missing all those years seemed to have slotted itself back into the perfect place that seemed to have been handcrafted only for it all that time.
Jimin softly hugged the mermaid leaving small kisses on the crown of his head, although he had not been very keen on the idea of having a mermaid soulmate suddenly he don't seem to mind that much.
It all seemed like it had always been meant to be there.
He looked up to see taehyung flashing his boxy smile letting his two little fangs peek from within his mouth.
Jimin smiled back turning to look at his other mates and a group of mermaids who surround them with their crystals out ready to attack them if required.
Jimin rolled his eyes, what do they think he will attack his mate. He gripped Jungkook closer and looked straight at his mates.
