Jungkook looked around, his belly swollen and darkness surrounding him, he does not remember for how long jad he had been here the dark cage around him and his continuous falling in and out of sleep had cut off any knowledge of time.
It was weird, he had met the old mermaid and the pack leader only a couple of times and even at that time, he was being fed or in half drowsy state.
Now as he slowly became completely conscious he noticed how the exhaustion he used to feel normally had subsidized to a huge level.
He sat up swimming to the point from where the sign of light could be felt, his hand going protectively at his belly.
Maybe it is the fact that Jungkook had been alone at this place with just this unborn 'child' in him that he feels so deeply connected.
Now with all the things happening around them, he knows this much that the thing growing in his stomach is in no way a normal 'child'. It is something ominous and he should find a way to get rid of it if he wants to get out of this terrible condition but he doesn't want to.
This 'thing' was growing in his belly, made from the mating between him and the siren pack a craze part of him considered this his child. A child created out of his love.
He put his hand over his belly, feeling the way it moves under his hands.
Jungkook finally reached the side of the cage covered with wires and from here he could see the old mermaid and the old pack leader talking among themselves.
" get me out of here, what's wrong with you. "
He saw the way the mermaid's lips curl in a smirk as she swam towards him, " you feeling energized now little darling. "
Jungkook snarled, " get me out of here you old piece of shriveled raisin, my mates will fuck you up. "
The mermaid flicked her hair back, "and how would a pack of sirens will get entry into mermaid's water, and even when they'll find you, it would be too late."
Jungkook thrashed from within the cage, picking up one of the rocks on his side and throwing it toward the mermaid who dogged it and it landed straight at the previous pack leader's head, who finally turned his attention towards the two and let out a blood-curdling snarl.
" Just sit there and do what you were left alive for you abomination. The only reason I didn't decapitate you along with your parents was because of this day. This is your punishment for being born out of those parents so now just sit and take your punishment. An abomination born of a mermaid and a siren deserves worst than what is happening to you so be grateful. "
The leader snarled, swimming off in another direction.
Jungkook felt his eyes fill with unshed tears as he let the words of the leader wash over himself his parents were killed, by the same man whom he had once considered the father figure in his life.
He heard a tsk sound from his side and he turned to see the old mermaid look at him with absolute disgust, " he must have felt so hurt seeing you grow up around him when your mom cheated on him with a filthy siren. Your mom was engaged to him but she went out and find a siren who said he was his soulmate and went ahead and mated with him. You are the creation of that mating. And don't go on with this Pitt crying, even I feel disgusted to have to take care of you but you can repay us by doing this, by giving birth to the weapon who will get rid of disgusting sirens for once all."
Jungkook watched both the people he once trusted most in his life swim away from him after revealing their true color.
He sat down back on the cage bars, squeezing his tail around his body, trying to make himself as small as he can in search of comfort.
Hand going onto his belly, as he rubbed gentle circle feeling his child getting restless inside him.
They called him an abomination just because he was born out of a mermaid and siren mating, who knows they are just calling his child a weapon because they were born out of an abomination and sirens mating.
His child is not a weapon, it is his blood, his baby. He would never trust them.
He cradled his swollen stomach in his hands singing a soft lullaby, not sure if it was to soothe the unborn child or himself.
