Jungkook tried their hardest to not let his emotions betray him, he do not want to appear as a crybaby in front of his mates.

So what if they do not like his home, so what if all his mates were so disgusted by his cave that they ran away from there without even looking back.

It hurt it really did, but it is not a big of deal Jungkook is a grown-ass adult. He would not overreact for something as stupid as this.

However, it is these stupid tears that just won't stop. He sobbed hands coming up to cover his mouth to stop any noise from escaping.

He should stop, it has been two days since they have came back to the sirens house. He had stayed in his cave for a week and during that time the elder four sirens have entered his cave occasionally to check on him but the two he had grown so close with were nowhere and when he asked about them, they had already gone back to the land but even now none of the two even tried to talk to him at all.

It was difficult to ignore that persistent nag on the back of his head that keeps on telling him, that it's his fault, he deserves whatever is happening to him.

Before he can spiral down into a sea of self-blaming he was brought out by two firm knocks on the door.

Jimin was ashamed, he looked down at his tail burn marks almost healed however he couldn't bring himself to forget the way he reacted to Jungkook's cave. He can not believe himself, how he ran away, he should have stayed, he could have easily beared the pain it is not a big deal, now he can not even face Jungkook now.

" NO... Stop it. Whatever you are thinking... Stop it. " Taehyung grabbed Jimin's shoulder jerking him a bit, " We both know, it wasn't a little burn, I felt it it was like swimming in a pool of concentrated acid. I know I couldn't have survived being there at all and you know that too just stop blaming yourself for god sake."

Jimin couldn't control the tears building up in his eyes, "but.. Jungkookie now hates me. He hates me now Taehyung" Taehyung pull the petty siren on his lap, " Then he would hate both of us. But we wouldn't know if we keep ignoring him like this baby... We have to talk to him Jimin, explain to him why we did that... He would understand, he is our mate..."

Jimin chewed on his lips, eyes unfocused as he wrapped his hand around his mate's shoulder burying his face in his neck biting down softly to ground himself, Taehyung just let his mate comfort himself the way he want to as his tail flicked softly in the pool.

" You both... Cut the crap right now " Jin's eyes were blazing grey as he looked down at the two youngest sirens.

" How long are you planning to ignore our mate ?? And us ??? Get out right now... Yoongi is having migraine of the stress and guilt signals coming through the bond. Yes we get it you are feeling sad and guilty but think how bad Jungkook must be feeling, he had no idea why the two whom he got closest to are ignoring him. Just come here " Jin gave his hand to help Jimin out however all the younger did was to back away from him submerging further into water.

Taehyung, however, took the hand, getting out of the pool excepting the towel to dry himself off as he grabbed onto the pole to get familiar with the legs after practically living in the water for days.

Jimin gave a betrayed look to him but Taehyung just sighed, " I am sending Yoongi Hyung Jiminie ....."

" No, you won't do that... Why just leave... Go away... I don't want to see you... I don't want to see anyone ... I hate you... I hate all of you" Jimin looked agitated, he hates how they treat him like a toddler like he doesn't have a brain of his own. He turned around diving deep into the pool settling on the base as ink-black tears fall down his face.

Yoongi knows Jimin the best, they both were each other's first mate, centuries before they met their other mates but the bond they developed had bonded them had grown stronger with time to the point that neither Yoongi nor Jimin can control their link when it comes to each other.

And maybe Jimin should have expected it but he still got startled as the water around him rippled and he saw Yoongi swimming toward him, eyes full of love and that one particular soft smile that till now is reserved for Jimin.

No matter how much Jimin had hated when Taehyung had said that he would call Yoongi, now cocooned securely between his mate's embrace and the elders tail wrapped around him Jimin realized just how much he needed this.
