Prompt: Anubis meeting everyone from CHB and Camp Jupiter, Nico meeting all the wizards and the two of them just bringing the two worlds together. (With the gods arguing in the background).

A/N: Not doing the arguing gods, and might've spent more time on something else than the meeting alone.

Anubis wrung his hands together. He was nervous.

Today was the day they were introducing their friends to each other. They were all going to have dinner together in the Brooklyn House. Zia, Carter, Walt and Sadie from his side. Percy, Annabeth, Thalia, Will, Jason, Piper, Leo, Frank and Hazel from Nico's side.

He glanced over at Nico, noticing how he was biting his lip, a bad habit he had when he was anxious.

Anubis reached over to grab Nico's hand, rubbing his thumb over the back of the other's hand. Nico looked up at him, his eyebrows furrowed with worry.

Anubis poked him between the eyes, watching as the furrow disappeared. "It'll be fine, okay?"

Nico turned to face him fully and Anubis placed a hand on his hip, pulling him closer. Nico's hand landed on his shoulder. "You keep saying that..." he murmured.

Anubis smiled. "Well, it's true."

Nico looked him in the eyes, his gaze searching. "How can you be so sure? I mean," he ran a hand through his hair. "What if they don't like me?"

Anubis snorted at that. Nico scowled at him, and Anubis reached up to stroke his cheek. "Hey, of course they'll like you. And even if they don't - which is literally impossible, have you met you? - I still like you, a lot. So they can just suck it up, because you're sticking around."

Nico smiled at that, his hand sliding to the back of Anubis' neck, his fingers tickling the hair on his nape. "That's actually really sweet," he said, leaning forward to press their lips together briefly.

Anubis raised his eyebrows at him, smirking slightly. "What if your side doesn't like me? Reyna and Jason seem pretty protective, from what you've said."

Nico's fingers brushed a stray lock of hair from his forehead. "They'll like you, because you're so cute." He kissed Anubis again, humming thoughtfully against his lips. "And, also 'cuz they have really low standards."

Anubis gaped at him in mock betrayal, hitting him in the arm.

—----

The dinner had gone well, so far, all things considered.

Anubis was seated next to Nico. Their various friends seemingly couldn't decide on where they wanted to sit, changing their seats every once in a while. They all had a sort of odd dynamic, being way too close, and moving around each other constantly.

Anubis had started the dinner seated opposite Jason and Reyna, who had all but glared holes through his head as they interrogated him about his relationship with Nico.

Nico had called them out several times on being way too invasive, but Anubis didn't really mind (it showed him just how much they cared about Nico, a sentiment he shared). The two Roman demigods had later moved on to give their spots to Percy and Frank.

Their approach was rather interesting, more of playful ribbing than actual interrogation. They had apparently made it their mission (or Percy had, at least) to share embarrassing stories about Nico, the boy in question trying and seemingly failing to ignore them.

He now sat opposite Annabeth, Will and Leo. He decided he quite liked Annabeth. She was unapologetic about being the arguably smartest person in the room, but didn't make a big deal about it either. She was definitely deciding what she thought about through her questions, that actually was more about Anubis himself, rather than his relation to Nico.
