Today we are at my parent's house. Since I promised to spend the weekend and Ney was their neighbour, it was the perfect situation for us not to drive back to the city.

Being at my parents' always gave me a cosy stay at home and relaxed atmosphere. So I wasn't exactly in the going out mood; B, on the other hand, was going frantic trying to figure out what to wear.

"Que pensez-vous de cette robe? (What do you think of this dress?)." she asked.

"Makes your body looks boom!" I said.

"Then not this," she said.

"Why not?" I asked, confused.

"I have to find the perfect balance of modest and sexy as fuck," she said, "if I'm too sexy, it leaves nothing to the imagination."

I laughed, but her logic makes sense. I watched as she went through various dresses and outfits to get to the right one. A silking black dress went down to her knees with small spaghetti straps and matching silver accessories.

"Damn, even I would marry you," I admitted.

"I know," she smiled, "And what will you wear to charm yourself a football player?"

"I'm going to have a good time, not to charm anyone, you know that."

"No, no, not fair," she said, "you used to say that you couldn't cause of school. Guess what? You are done! Now it's time to get a man."

"Do I have to?" I asked.

"Yes, it's time," she said, "your last 'relationship' was in your first of uni. A year in a dull relationship, we need to change that."

"But," I started to say.

"No buts," she interrupted, then she grabbed an outfit and shoved it to my hands, "wear this."

"Isn't this too much?" I asked.

"It is just enough; now put it on."

So I followed her orders. The dress was short and pink with diamond lining on the bottom and top, not any of my go-to. But it's Ney's party. If there's anyone that goes all out, it's him, so I guess I had to as well. I let my hair down and did some matte make-up.

"Now that's more like it," she said as I strapped on my shoes.

"One night only," I told her.

"Then let's get going, Cinderella," she said.

We headed downstairs, and both received lovely comments from my parents. Then we hopped in the cab to Ney's house.

When the gates opened, the house was bursting with lights out of every window. The music was loud, and the atmosphere was exciting.

"Woah," I said with my jaw dropped.

"This is incredible," B said.

We got closer, and the valet opened the door car for us and we headed in. The place felt like a modern-day Gatsby party but with a Brazilian flair. Everything is glamorous, tropical and colourful. Although there wasn't much decoration, there was a lot of coordination and different bites of food and drinks going around for all the guests.

Before I knew it, Béatrice was already handing me a glass of champagne and said, " voilà Commençons la fête (let's get the party started)"

I gladly took it; we clinked our glasses and took a big simp. The new mission, find Ney and Thilo. We went about the various living spaces and eventually ended up outside, where the dance floor was glass and right above the pool, with the colourful spotlights shining on it.

"Remind me to let Ney plan my parties," B said to me, and I just nodded.

All of a sudden, I felt someone hug me from the side and say, "Y/n! So good to see you."

Immediately recommended that voice and hugged her back, "Bruna! You're finally back!"

B was just as shocked and hugged us both, and Bruna said, "I missed you guys so much!"

"We did too," B said, then we proceeded to have the quickest catch-up session. Bruna, B and I were the three musketeers, and when we were together, the party could genuinely get started.

"Where's Ney?" B asked, "he supposed to set me up."

"Ohh yeah," Bruna remembered, "he told me about, great pick, by the way."

"Thank you," B said and did a hair flip, which made us laugh.

"Let's go to Ney," Bruna said.

We went through the crowds and made it up to a table on a platform in front of the pool/dancefloor, where most of the players were sitting.

"Hey! Bem vindas! (Welcome!)" Ney shouted and hugged us both.

"Amazing party, Ney!" I said.

"Thank you; I can't go to Brazil, figure I'd bring Brazil to Paris," he explained.

"It's a great idea," B said.

"Yo, Thilo," Ney called, and Thilo stoop up from the couch, "I want you to meet Béatrice, she's a French supermodel and a friend of mine."

"Nice to meet you, Béatrice," he said with a bit of a German accent and gave her two kisses.

"Nice to meet you too," she smiled. Not everyone could tell because she's a highly confident person, but I saw right through her, and she was a giddy school girl inside.

They then sat on the couch and talked about God knows what; I just liked seeing her very smitten.

"No one for you?" Bruna asked.

"No," I answered, "not tonight."

"Alright then, let's go dance," she said and pulled me into the dance floor where we did the most.

"I'm going to get a drink," I told her, and she nodded.

I made my way to the bar and got a drink. As I was walking back, someone did a fast movement and knocked over my glass, spilling it all over my dress, shoes and the shoulder of his jacket.

"Watch it!" I yelled, he turned around, and it was Kylian.
