I got home and the first I hear is B rushing into the living room and ask, "so?"

"Aren't you supposed to be on your date?" I asked.

"That was a lie, just for him not to drop Kylian off," she explained.

"I noticed," I mentioned as I laid down on the couch, "you and Bruna are truly the realist."

"I know," she said, "speaking of Bruna, let me call her so she can hear this."

"Alright," I replied.

I went into my room to keep my stuff, came back and Bruna was already front and center on B's computer screen.

"Hey!" She said, "how was it?"

"Espera de mim, (Wait for me,)" I heard Neymar announce in the background.

"What did he say?" I asked Bruna, because I don't understand that much Portuguese.

"He told us to wait for him," she explained, "I had to tell him everything. He started questioning me in the car and I can't lie at all, I'm sorry."

"It's okay," I reassured her, "he just has to promise not to tell Kylian."

Then Ney popped up beside her and said, "I promise."

"I'm serious, Ney," I said, "this does not leave this group."

"And me," Thilo said as he emerged from the hallway.

"I told him," B said, "I'm sorry."

"Ugh, okay, both of you promise, not a single word," I announced.

"Promise!" They both said in unison.

"Okay, so first of all congratulations to my girls for getting these boys out the way," I mentioned and the three us clapped while the boys rolled their eyes.

I then proceeded to tell them most of what happened, that I met his brother, I told them that he liked me and I confessed that I liked him too. Finally, about when Maïa arrived.

"Wow, this girl really doesn't know when to chill," Ney mentioned.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"We all liked her in the beginning," Thilo explained, "but then she got weird, Kylian and her were fighting a lot. He stopped hanging out with us to solve their problems."

"Yeah, he just changed," Ney added, "got a bit more hot headed, then usual."

"That's for sure," Thilo agreed.

"But anyways she introduced herself has his girlfriend," I continued to explain.

"No," Ney said, "they broke up that day after my house party."

"Really?" I asked.

"Yes," Ney confirmed, "he told me the next day, when you all came back to my house."

"You guys are sneaky," Bruna mentioned.

"Very," B replied.

"Us?" He asked, "you guys devised a plan to let her drop him off," Thilo said.

"It was for the greater good," Bruna giggled.

"True," I said and we all laughed.

"So, what now?" Ney asked.

"I don't know," I admitted, "before I left he asked me not to go, but I'm not about to be with Maïa and hear what she had to say to him. What if they go back together?"

Silence fell between us as no one else knew what to say. That question sank in and it hurt to think that it was even an option.

"I don't think they will," B said, "don't think about it."

I took a deep breath and said, "I'll try."

"We will tell you what we know when we know it," Ney said to me.

"Thanks, Ney," I said.

"Are you going to watch the Man United vs PSG game on Tuesday?" Thilo asked us girls.

"We wouldn't miss it for the world," B answered and we both agreed.

We spoke a bit more and shared a few laughs before I decided it was time for me to sleep. I had work tomorrow and thinking about all of this just gave me anxiety.

I went to bed completely confused about everything, but I knew one thing for sure, I am falling for Kylian Mbappé.

Monday

I had no words to describe today, just another simple day. I got ready for work, had breakfast and decided to walk to work, hoping it could help clear my mind.

I got to work, greeted Madam Blanchet, got my list of duties and started working with Charles. When we finished I went straight to my dad's office.

*knock, knock*

"Come in!" He said.

I opened the door and there he was sitting on with office chair with my mom on the couch.

"Hello, mom," I said, "what a great surprise."

She hugged me and whispered, "I missed you this weekend."

"Ohh, mom, I did too," I admitted, "a lot happened this weekend actually."

"Sit and tell me," she said.

I told her about the dinner but didn't mention the kiss or Kylian. I don't like to tell my parents about boys, unless I seriously like them.

"That sounds like you had a lot of fun, dear," my dad, "you have to invite them to our house one of these days."

"I will," I said, "are we going to watch tomorrow's game?"

"Of course!" He said.

"Who will you be supporting?" I asked with a smirk.

"PSG," he replied, "I know you'll be in Red for the new friends you made at the dinner."

"Yes, but also because I'm a red devil for life."

He laughed and asked, "will you be joining us, my love?"

"I think I will," she responded, "especially since you'll be on opposite side for the first time in forever."

I laughed and said, "I would love to have you there."

"We will pick up you girls up tomorrow night," she told me.

"We'll be ready," I replied.
